Manchester State Forest Shooting Range is in SE Sumter county. It's almost dead center of the state.

I'm moving to Louisiana this fall. Any of you Deep South guys live in New Orleans? Is there a Deep South meetup? We've had a couple Oregon/Washington bistate meetups out here in the Pacific Northwest.

It'd be cool to make some friends out there when I move.

Yes. There are no range officers and none of the stupid fudd rules like 3 seconds between shots,etc. that
all the dnr ranges in the up state. There's nothing to hang targets from but I'll be bringing some target stands

How is Fairforest in comparison to Indian Creek? I only ask because Indian Creek looks to be similar, and it's a lot closer to I-26 than Fairforest is.

357 Sig is about as pointless as 45 GAP. If you want a 45, buy a 45. If you want a 357, buy a 357.
