Yea I like that thing too, even though it's only purpose so far has been the annual turkey shoot. I fell in love with the simplicity and my dad just let me have it a while back. It's a shame he abused it though, the barrels rusted and the stock is gashed up. Not really worth it to restore it though, I think it's from around 1960.

The entire gas block can wiggle side to side with hand pressure, bought an AK sight tool and it's too short to fit into the fsp ring and reach the post. I have one and granted, I'm no historical guns connoisseur, but I think it's fantastic. I would bitch about the price but since it's hard to find garands not from the CMP for less than 1K, you kinda just have to lube up and deal. If you really pay attention you can see where the receiver pitted at some point but it's been finished over so you can't really tell unless you're looking for it. I wanted a good shooter more than a historical piece so I have 0 complaints about the condition.

Stovepiping is common as fuck on a sks dude, my norinco usually does it with the ejecting case, just pull the bolt back and turn the gun so the empty falls out then your good to go
