What would decapitate someone's head off easier, A Slicing sword or a Chopping sword?
Depends on how you're cutting.
Are you carefully and slowly slicing, or are you quickly and forcefully chopping?

let's assume they're kneeling and bowing. like them ISIS
>>33946451
let's say in one strike.
.454
Kukri + Tree stump
>Slicing sword
What the fuck am I reading.
Swords come in cutting, and thrusting varieties, and many are hybrids
A sword designed for decapitation would look a lot like this, or maybe a thick katana.
Every culture that has used a sword for this learned it takes boocoo practice and technique.
>>33946414
you watch to many anime for thinking neck as soft as bamboo.
>>33946988
I don't watch anime.
anyway I'll be specific with what type of sword I mean
which sword can decapitate someone easier, Katana or Kampilan?
<-- here's a Kampilan btw
That looks like a one handed grip.
Both the Germans and Japs agreed on sharp edges, and two hands.
>>33947130
that's the smaller version. there are bigger ones
>>33947149
The Japanese beheaded hundreds with katanas.
The Germans did similar with broadswords.
Both had long hilts, and good technique.
>>33947049
Yeah you do.

i dont I prefer western cartoon
my favorite show is The Amazing World Of Gumball
I've been told the khukri is particularly effecting at decapitation strikes against foot soldiers when wielded on horseback.
Chopping requires a backdrop, wether you used an axe or >>33946888 you need to rest the head on a stump or something, else it just bends out of the way (even assuming you nail the sweet spot under C2).
Isis slowly slices while holding the head by the hair.
You can get an almost total decapitation with a blow but not a clean cut.
