Hey /k/, I was wondering if anyone knows if having undergone some sort of training is required to be eligible to own a long gun in NJ. I've seen it's a requirement for hand guns, but I see nothing about long guns.

You need an FPID card to buy long guns. To get an FPID card you need to get fingerprinted and fill out a bunch of bullshit paperwork. There's no training required.
