Probably an Astra Model 903 that had some interesting history behind it. It was captured from a dead Luftwaffe pilot who had crashed his plane in the Italian Alps. The guy who owned it was the original man who brought it back. It was also like 1 one 12 Model 903s in the U.S.

>not interesting

I get that they aren't /k/'s flavor of interesting, but it's still awesome to shoot something that meticulously built.

If nothing else be happy that you got to shoot something worth more than someone's car, or even house depending on what gun it was.

Pic is my most interesting, and actually one I own. I just got back from shooting 5-stand with it and am about to clean it.

I've shot some uncommon stuff, but nothing particularly exotic.

One friend owns a very early Model 29, which I actually enjoyed shooting quite a bit. He also has one of those fancy Savage marksman/sniper rifles that they only sell to LE, it's legal to own but he had to order it through a cop buddy.

Another friend has a .50 Deagle brand Deagle and brought it with him when we went shooting once, but we couldn't find any ammo for it.

I love it, it's the gun I shoot most now. I shoot in tournaments with it now.

It definitely gets looks, and I almost always get asked about it when I go to the range if there's anyone new there.

The fact that it's odd is what made me initially want the gun, too, but now that I have it I can genuinely say it's a dream to shoot as well. I much prefer it over any semiauto I've ever shot.

Something was pointed out to me after I bought it that I find interesting: the barrel doesn't sit where a semiauto barrel does relative to the stock and receiver, it's a little lower so it's more in line with the lower barrel on an over/under, making the recoil more in line with your shoulder and resulting in basically no muzzle flip. That, combined with the recoil dampeners under the forend (pic related, top right) makes it really stable for the second shot.

I've also figured out how to hold a third shell with my shooting hand, so I can quickly load it in the external carrier after the first shot. It's not optimal vs a tube mag but I can get three shots off quick all the same if I needed to.

I've had a handful of two types of FTF malfunctions, one due to not cleaning the bolt properly and I'm fairly certain the other one was due to the ammo I was using.

The most unique?
Well...I frequently shoot my Gewehr 1888.
And I also frequently shoot a Webley Mk VI, though I don't think those really are unique per se, just not your average plinking guns.

Oh, I have shot a Dreyse 1907.
That counts I think. Forgotten weapons had a video on it I believe (I know for a fact he has the 1910 variant)

I have a .458, but I'd really like a .460 Weatherby.
Shot a full auto Colt 9mm sub gun when they first came out.

Not always.
There are manual dials and a fire button on the operators console so you can aim and shoot it that way.
There is also a pedestal mounter gunsight and trigger so it you want to stand outside, you can put iron sights in it and pull the trigger like a regular gun. Apparently that option was against geneva conventions for some reason, but we had it anyhow.

Semiauto MK760.

There were <750 made because the company cranked out thousands of FA models just before the 1986 MG ban. The remaining parts were remade into semi models before the company shut down.

It's not really reliable but it's fun to shoot and saw action in vietnam and several 80s movies.

The rear sight base, gas block, and front sight base are all canted out of line from one another, yet still retains a good zero at 100-200m and hasn't malfunctioned 3000-4000 rounds in so i guess it is somewhat unique.

At least you got a red dot with a low co-witness, good on you.

I made the mistake of getting a POSP 4x before realizing how silly they were to shoot.

The MI 30mm red dot mount is great.

Broken bolt lugs mostly. Because they essentially took the dr100 5.56 bolt face and milled it out for the 7.62x39 rim diameter.

Well to be fair your riser still puts you lower than my stock triangle. I can almost have a cheek weld with my SVD pad+triangle

Also your POSP looks weird as fuck compared to my PSO and it's sketching me out
>>
Shot a 1911 with a shoulder stock.
it was kinda like the shoulder stock for a mauser broomhandle

I got it on Kalinka Optics years ago, that model isn't even available anymore.

How?

That makes more sense. The new POSPs don't stray that far from the PSO design now IIRC. Just a weird speckled finish
>>

It was more than likely an illegally acquired firearm, but like fuck if I was passing up the chance. I will gladly sell my kidney and both of my testicles for the chance to fire that gun again.

Britfag here, was an army cadet as a kid, so I got plenty of range time with the semi-auto only version of the SA80A2 that H&K makes.

For the life of me I don't know why they don't sell it on the American market.

Rumor has it that a batch made it to Canada alongside some semi MP7s

I like it, it holds zero even after I take it off and put it on so much.
But i probably would have gotten a non co witness reddot had I know how bad the cowitness on my particular rifle would be. I can use the sights, but its pretty difficult.

Semi RPD my dad made from a parts kit. It only feeds more than 2-3 rounds at a time if you hold the belt with your arm like with an MG-42.
