Will be working in Oklahoma City. Any good ranges? Are there any good federal lands nearby to shoot? How are the gun laws in general? Good places for the stalker challenge?

Most of the area around OKC is private lands so you're looking at ranges. In bumfuck nowhere Oklahoma (IE Hugo, OK) there's plenty of public land for shooting.
Go online and see if you can find any ranges in OKC.

OKC gun club is pretty cool, Wilshire is pretty good for an indoor range. I grew up there, Edmond actually, but I'll answer whatever question you have.
I think Wilshire is the one that got in trouble for saying No Muslims Allowed. Go there. It's in Nichols Hills on rich side of OKC. Then there's the big motherfucker on I40. Everyone goes there but for a reason.

Fuck Wilshire, they charge by the hour. For what they charge for an hour you can shoot all day at other places.

Congratulations, OP. OK is an amazing place for guns. Only downsides are that you can't carry anything over .45 so no Deagle CC. Also there is no permitless carry, but a CHL is easy to get if you have one of the VERY few CHLs not recognized by the state.

all have the right idea. Wilshire has a really chill range with a cafe and shit built in. They also do NFA rentals, have a good amount of guns for sale, and also a ton of non-nfa guns for rent if you're looking to try before you buy something. I shot a SCAR for like $100 for a solid hour with ammo included.
I still shoot at H&H regularly just because it's convenient. Dunno if I'd buy much there outside of a sale. It's right off I-240 in OKC.

I wish... there are poor people in Edmond too. I got my school lunches for free, I'll put it to you that way. It sucked growing up with tons of kids that obviously had money. If I wanted anything nice I had to save up and buy it myself.
