I wear OP's pic in black every day around the house. Could probably cut a slit into the heel for shiv storage. Maybe pin a garrotte wire around the edge of the sole. If you want to go full Ork style get them in red and install a wooden panel with board nails coming through the shoe holes for more dakka.

C4 is not easily exploded and requires a complex detonator to trigger it. A primary explosive with a percussion cap striking a needle upon compression would work better.
