I just finished Generation Kill

If you haven't seen it yet what the fuck are you even doing. Watch that shit right now. It's like a Band of Brothers set in the Iraq War.

It's praised by veterans for its realism and portrayal of the war. The actual marines of first recon battalion were constantly involved in the making of it, so there's that.

My expectations are low-ish, but it's not like there are many equivalent shows out there, so why the hell not? If the interactions between characters don't feel like a Scott/Stonebridge deja vu, and the firefights are entertaining, i could be okay with this.
