Soni went to shoot my ar15 this weekend, chambered in 5.45. Bought some shitty tula ammo, steel cased. Every single round fired resulted in a failure to feed. Once I shot brass ammo, it cycled perfectly. Is this an ammo problem, a magazine problem, or a is it a gun problem where the ar15 should be able to overcome the shitty ammo or mag, but does not because of something wrong with the gun

I agree the rail is definitely the weak point on it, I didn't really have a good plan when I build that upper about 5 years ago, was originally planning on a 16" mid, ended up going 18" rifle, so was stuck with an exposed gas block since I didn't have the cash for a different rail at that point. It's getting a new Geissele MK 14 rail when those come out.
Agree the color fill is a bit cringy, it seemed cool at the time, just haven't gotten around to scrubbing it out.
Disagree on the stock, not a thing wrong with the ACS.
