Been wanting to get into Appendix Carry, I usually carry at my 5 but can't for the life of me figure out how to properly conceal my weapon in the front.

Appendix works well in two cases:
1) your chest bigger than your waist
2) you are slightly fat so that when you cinch your belt down the gun is smooshed into your gut fat

From what I've read, the most important thing is to have a really good holster made for appendix carry.
Im no physican but Im pretty sure guns dont belong in there

Looks like I gotta work on these pecs and grow a gut.

I've carried a glock 26 appendix for 6 years now. A good holster is key, I have one from Vedder and it works well. A stiff belt has helped me a lot too.

It's one or the other. Anything beyond mildly chubby and you will be the average /k/ user who says it's uncomfortable and impossible to conceal.
I've been appendix carrying for 5 years now with a Bladetech holster and often times forget it's even there.
Just don't be a lard ass and it's the most convenient carry option.

This.
I would start off with trying JM Custom Kydex for an AIWB rig. Make sure to get some form of claw or neoprene wedge as they help conceal the gun ontop of making it more comfortable
Does anyone use those plastic trigger clips? Spooky yet fascinating, I wonder if they're any comfortable.

Rectum? It damn near killed'em!

What do you carry? Compact, Subcompact?
>>33920859
Sorry, I carry a Gen4 Glock 19 in a Bladetech RH IWB Appendix holster. I'm 6'2" 185 for reference.

And here it is in the holster.

1) get a good hardshell holster
2) carry as much gun as you want
Also as mentioned wing claw designs are nice for stability and belt line distribution.
Never needed a wedge but skinnyfag so YMMV
Plenty of good techniques and practices for reholstering safely
That includes not just techniques but also hardware decisions like hammer fired vs striker
AIWB is FAST m8, like really fast

This is bullshit. I use a shit-tier(supposedly) blackhawk IWB nylon holster to AIWB a glock 19. Have done this for 6 years now. Thinnest holster option available. If I'm going to be exercising and really sweaty I use a remora with full sweat shield.
To all you noguns that wanna scream about hard cover for the trigger on a striker gun. I defy you to get the trigger of a glock to move in one of these holsters. You would have to cut a hole in the holster to get your finger in far enough to disengage the trigger safety. And about reholstering. Gun only goes in my pants when it's inside the holster. IDGAF about speed re-holstering only fast draw.

I went with the haley strategic incog for my glock 19. Conceals just fine in a t shirt, retention is good and draw is quick.
I'm a big fan of the angled belt clips. Not only does it press the pistol against you at all times but it also creates a small gap that help with the draw. When I grab it theres no need to readjust on the draw.

From the pic, I thought you have been trying to shove a gun up your ass.

>Plenty of good techniques and practices for reholstering safely
This x1000. You should never be in a hurry to reholster.
>>33919936
I carry appendix cross draw. Gun at 11 o'clock. Conceals best on me. Stealthgear USA aiwb with a CZ P07
>>33919936
honestly the best place to carry i have found is 6:o-clock. dont listen to any of these faggy boys about ohhh muh spine. weak men have weak backs
>>33919936
Pull it out, then put in from the back. Try your prostate first and if that doesn't work try going a little further up and putting it in your pancreas.

HOW DID A GUN GET IN YOUR APPENDIX HOLY SHIT!
While we're on the topic, does anyone have experience with Remora holsters for a J-frame?
