Depends, if you live in a state where you're allowed to CC, definitely go for a handgun before anything. Weapons provide self-defense, and covering that base is probably your first priority.

Personally if you want style points there are plenty of good looking 9mms that fit the bill for a man out of college.

Well a colt or Beretta is nice but for the Colt (1911 I'm assuming) you're only getting 8 rounds, you're going to want more than that considering how many it takes in a stressful situation to down a guy. As for the Beretta, the size on it is a bit impractical but definitely style points. If I were you I'd go for any one of these.

I like the look of the Cz and the high power personally. Also the last one is the Jericho "baby eagle" I love the look of it and it's the gun Spike uses in Cowboy Bebop if that means anything to you.

I didn't buy my first gun until I was 26. Lived in a noguns family so never really thought of myself as a gun owner type person.

My first gun was a Remington 870 I bought a couple weeks before we had our first child. I wanted to be able to protect my family and it seemed like a good choice. I still believe it is a good choice.

It is NOT much fun at the range unless you buy a recoil reducing stock. Great buy for protection but won't be tons of fun down the line (just my experience).

if youre a poorfag, get a .22 rifle. ammo is about four times cheaper. the go to rifles are the 10/22 and the marlin model 60. the 10/22 is much more customizeable and uses a magazine but the marlin is a bit more accurate and makes a great poorfag precision rifle.

what state are you? as far as i know, you can buy anything besides a handgun from an ffl in any state once youre 18. some states even allow you to buy handguns at 18 from private sellers.
