Depends, if you want the RMR and threaded barrel then yes absolutely, if you 100% know you don't and don't care about them at all then the standard model will do fine. But if there's any doubt in your mind then just go for the tactical anyways. It's not even much more expensive than the standard and it'd cost a shitton more to get all the stuff done to a standard one. And even without RMR/suppressor the tritium sights are a nice upgrade over the standard, since they come with the tactical by default

It's got history out the wazzoo, it looks nice, and most people make variants that are reliable, and it's a modern enough pistol that you aren't putting yourself at a serious disadvantage as compared to having something like a fucking Derringer. And I mean, in world where niggers buy Hi-Points, women buy Glocks, and white kids buy whatever looks like it came out of Call of Duty, I can understand why you'd want to get it more recognition.

I still wouldn't recommend it over a 9mm, but if you're going to get a single-stack anyways due to the slimmer profile, you may as well get a .45. .45 is also pretty good round if you suppress it as well, but by that point you should be looking at an FNX-45.

Be sure to post here about it once you get it, I've been thinking about getting one but hear that the slide to frame fit is very tight and they must be cleaned often, also supposedly has a special anti galling coating on the rails.
I guess my point is I want one but can't see spending that dough unless it can handle being pushed into a defensive use if necessary.

It's just not enjoyable to hold or shoot. It feels plasticy, the grip is massive and awkward for my babby hands given it has to cram in 15 rounds of 45, and its lighter weight polymer frame just doesn't feel as satisfying on recoil impulse as all metal. Also my biggest pet peeve with it, the suppressor height sights are obnoxiously tall, way more than they need to be. To the point where the rear sight blocks like 75% of the rmrs viewing window making it pointless.

Walther PPQ in 9mm, as my carry.

Lastly, every collection needs a 1911, except mine. I've got my .45ACP already. So I'll make the purists cry and chose a Glock. Specifically a Glock 40 - 10mm is a fun round.

I might consider something smaller as a carry too - The compact CZ-75's look just sooo nice.

I will say this - my M357-A1 is absolutely my dream concealed carry sidearm. Perfect round - feels great fired from this gun, and since I am limited on capacity i n this 10 round state, I might as well go big (within reason - the only 10mm option in good CC size is the Glock 19, and no thanks, and .40S&W just sucks.)
