I posted that shit, and yeah it was some bullshit. If you're saying bullshit as in, I'm making this up just listen to the link I posted, or do some googling. His chemical company had a large stockpile of Zyklon B on hand and it was those stockpiles used in concentration camps on Jews in WWII.

In a way, I think Hitler getting gassed as a soldier in WWI had a profound impact on his thinking. What Spicer said about the Third Reich never using chemical weapons was true- they never touched the shit for warfare. It's fucked up that they used it on Jews, but I think in a way it demonstrates just how much he hated them.

I like that you're not drinking the /pol/ koolaid like a lot of other autists on the chinz. I think the thing that was agravating about BF1 was that, yes there were all sorts of ethnicities caught up in the conflict- but on a whole the people they portray were a small minority compared to the average soldier. France was one of the largest combatants in the entire war and they aren't even a team in the game. Depicting the entire British army as black or whatever also smacks of historical revisionism. Kids will play this game and think that it was black people who fought the war and not whole generations of ethnically french or english people who were slaughtered. 4chan is one of the last places where we can openly discuss whether or not that's ok, and while I don't think of myself as racist, I don't like the idea of brown washing history just to make it pc.

Also, fuck how many automatic/semi automatic guns there were. THey shoulda pushed the bolt action more.

as far as I know, the backpack (what's supposed to be an upgrade in the photo) fucking sucked. It was difficult to get off, very difficult to pack- like everything is supposed to be in it's place FUCK YOU if you have anything else you need to carry.

The older style "hudson pack" was much more organic in development. You give guys a blanket, an overcoat, and some miscellaneous shit, they'll figure out how to tote it for miles. I've tried this style and it was just OK, not amazing but it worked and I forgot about it for a few miles here and there.

Don't know the specifics, but I imagine the new set up was heavier. U.S. forces fought WWII with this pack knowing it sucked and was obsolete, but needed to make Armies happen so tough noogies.

BF1 problem was aggravated by releasing during the anniversary, retarded dev comments instead of admitting making an arcade shooter with a ww1 paintjod ("we want to focus on obscure parts of the conflict; as such the campaign will feature mainly US and british characters"), and being an AAA game with a massive marketing campaign.
