The M1895s marked with "Ludwig Loewe & Co." are considered antiques, because LL&Co. became Deutsche Waffen-und Munitionsfabriken on January 1st 1897.
I got the cavalry version.

The short rifle like that was really more meant for artillerymen, MPs, engineers and the like; the actual M1895 cavalry carbine is even shorter and has a ladder-type rear sight.

My mistake, I thought that the engineers had the shortest version and cavalry had the mid sized one. My Argentine bayonet fits the lug.
