Appease the knife god:

1. Post your knives and tell anons if they're worth the money
2. Ask knife related questions
3. Keep Sebenza, Espada and jagdkommando shitposting at a minimum
3a. Sebenza guy is any anon writing "Sebenza guy" in the name field, no need to go all "xD it's him again".
4. Share your news about good deals, new releases and happenings on the market

Is Kizer really legit?
These deals seem to good to be true.
The new releases seem very promising too, they work together with many western designers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5xv4hC_uFs

"The bull" looks amazing

I think I will finally get a kukri, just for the shits.
Does Windlass make good ones?
Tora blades seems to be the Mercedes of Kukris.

Pic is old.

Anyone into "small" or "micro" EDC blades? What do you carry?

I have a Victorinox classic alox on my keychain, for EDC in the city I have a mercator knife.
Extremly thin.

Only other fixed blade I got is a Esee 3"
And that thing spot rusts kind of quickly if I don't dry and slather it in oil.

I love small/micro knives, especially autos. Use to exclusively carry a Protech Sprint (2 inch auto) for work just because it was super fast to cut something and put away. Nowadays I'm mostly carrying small 3 inch Benchmades cause the axis lock is just about as fast opening with even faster closing than an auto making it more convenient. With a 3 inch blade it's easier to do food prep as well.

LDT Small Sebenza Clone is holding up nicely. Has a few faults tho
>>
They have some pretty nice stuff at good prices, although their QC is a hit or miss. Lots of people including myself have noticed it in the Kizer Feist that recently came out
>>
>>33907665
LDT?

Got the Sanrenmu clone with ball bearings and 12c27, it is awesome. Only costs 14 $

Hmm yes, I saw a review on youtube and the knife was perfectly fine but had a big fat grind blemish on the blade.
>>
What does /k/ think about balisongs/butterfly knives? Are they cringy or can be used EDC?

>>33907948
Hmm should have gotten that. I find the action to be bit tight on the clone

Ever since Microtech guy, you other "guys" are popping up left and right
At least he has cool stuff to post. Sucks that hunter got him banned again
>>
>>33908594
he's a fucking charlatan who posts pics he finds on the interwebs and pretends to be friends with the marfiones.
he's shown no evidence to backup his claims
also, there's more than one guy posting as microtech guy
>>
>>33908031
Originally they were utility knives back when being able to open a folding knife with one hand was a big deal. Now they're generally considered pocket jewelry but a well build example will be as functional as always.

Just got a Dragonfly 2, was deciding between it and a Delica, but I prefer the smaller formfactor.

Thinking of getting a delica 4 and wise men company signet ring for it from Blade HQ for around $105.

Seems like a good alternative to paying $150+ for an Emerson or Fox Karambit. Want something I can easily draw from back-left pocket into left hand in reverse grip. A lot of people have pictures of theirs' on IG and Pinterest.

I wonder if Sharps got a ring for his Endura yet.

Cold Steel pocket bushman. The most cost effective knife I ever had. And it is really tough, too.

ZT 0566BW - Came with the blade touching the frame, tightening the pivot screw to center it locks the knife closed, completely impossible to move. Tried loosening frame screws to force it center, also doesn't work. Sent it into ZT, got it back 3 weeks later with the fucking pivot screw just cranked down so it was impossible to open.

Paid $160, not even worth $5 to me. Currently sitting in the in one of my desk drawers. Never buying ZT again.

you should call them and explain what's going on instead of being a brooding autist.
>>
>>33910315
I called the when I first got it, sent it in like they instructed me, and I got it back, just a big a POS. I did call them back a second time and they told me according to their notes on that case number, there was "nothing wrong with the knife" and it was returned. their customer service is garbage.
>>
>>33910343
well, that sucks.
i have an old 301 and a 350 both of which i like, but i am not really much of a fan otherwise.
i feel like most of their knives are overpriced and aesthetically unpleasing to the eyes
>>
>>33910200
kek just order a new pivot from them and see if thats the problem.dont why you didnt check the secondary market.i have seen barely used ones go for like 80-100 bucks.picked up mine with s35vn steel for 90 bucks new.

I highly recommend knifemaking as a hobby, its a bit expensive but a shit load of fun. Definitely avoid it as a breadwinning career...
