at 5yards no, but any decent distance for pistol yes.

the glock 34's barrel is 5.31" while the 19 is 4.01", that extra 1.30" actually helps quite a bit. not to mention the 34 is a fullsize frame so it has more grip length, where the 19 is more for a do-all-carry the intended purpose of the 34 is competition.
