Bergara HMR groups.

The first ones were incredible with Hornady 140gr A-Max, but after the 3rd group I sighted in and shot a few groups of 7mm magnum prone, and when I went back to the 6.5 with Hornady ELD-X, even though recoil was extremely minimal, it hurt my tendy shouwda and I couldn't force myself to relax and mount the rifle properly for awhile. My collar bone hurts.

Depends on the suppressor. If you plan on getting a specific suppressor, get the specific muzzle device(s) for it.

If you're not sure what suppressor you want, get a plain A2 and don't pin/weld, then replace with the right muzzle device later.

Typically speaking, any suppressor that will mount to their brake/comp will be shit (a Gemtech HALO for example).

Yes, built this in may of 2011 back when tube hand guards were the shit. The big ass comp didnt look that big when i saw it online but boy did it fucking mitigate all recoil. Need help with x products side charging upper

So I got the dead foot arms modified cycling system and also x products non recip side charging upper and it's pretty much impossible to charge.
It's so Damn stiff and it catches on its rails as well.
Another thing, when the handle is fully locked in its very difficult to get it out, without the bcg and lower, but when the bolt is in full battery and the dead foot arms mcs is installed it's pretty much impossible.
Am I just a weakfag that should lift more? I mean probably, but still it seems like putting so much force on the charging handle is bad for the gun and specifically the bcg.
Should I grind down the catch for the charging handle inside the upper?
What I mean by catch is a thicker section of metal that allows the charging handle to lock in and not move at all.
Maybe just a bit so it's not so difficult.

They're oversized to begin with. I bought 2 different precision rods from mcmaster carr to ensure there wouldn't be any baffle strikes before I test fired it for the first time. Had to make due with available equipment, not easy to drill titanium. Did it on a drill press when I should have used a lathe or a mill.

Drilling is pretty much the same on a mill or lathe.

Sure the tailstock *should* be on center but it might not be perfect.

You can put an indicator on the chuck and spin it around the round part to center it is what I was thinking. Works the same drilling on a mill too.

For drilling harder stuff you could have bought a carbide center-cutting end-mill (or a carbide drill bit).

I have the same upper. It was super hard to charge in the beginning but once you do it enough times you get used to it.

The metal next to the catch eventually wears enough that breaking it out is easy, and the trick is to pull it along the axis of the charger. If I try pulling a little up or down as I charge it it's damn near impossible to muscle it back.

This is with a nearly-dry BCG I got from the factory, so lubing it might also make it easier.
