I did it /k/!
I finally made my "Leon" gun.
>>33903214
groovy bro! What parts?
That's quite possibly the sexiest handgun I've ever seen.
>>33903778
leons gun is literally a bog standard 92fs then you drop like 300 on an sgs comp. they were 300 for repros last time i checked years ago
Next mission, create the John Wick P30L
>>33903214
that's not a silver ghost
>>33903809
The Beretta 92s from Underworld were even better. Those compensators/barrel weights shaped to match the curvature of the slide are pure sex.
>that feel when this pair was demilitarized so they could be sold to a collector in England
>>33903214
That's not a VP70...
>>33903214
>>33904068
How do these things attach to the gun? Asking cuz I own one.
>>33904223
guiderod gets replaced with an extended one then the comps screwed to that
>>33904247
That was underwhelming.
>>33903928
And the repros aren't worth a fuck. At least the SGS comps actually worked
>>33904068
>>33903809
>>33903214
You are like children, watch this
>>33903214
You literally just bought a $350.00 compensator, wow its like you bought a built ar upper and built lower and snapped it together and said you built it.
>>33905831
NOT WITHOUT INCIDENCE.
>>33905831
Bet it comes with a heavy price. But I'd pay it gladly
Have you fired it yet? I always wondered how effective those comps actually were.
Speaking of 92s from media
>tfw playing a lot of RE
>the temptation to build a Samurai Edge rises
>>33905831
But does it have a muzzle flash in the shape of the Tetragrammaton symbol?
Its impossible, but I always thought it was a neat little easter egg.
>>33907769
If I ever buy a 92 series gun, it's gonna get the RE treatment.
>>33905831
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
>>33907769
the engraving on the slide fucking ruins it
>>33907769
Is that airsof I see?
>>33903966
>>33904200
Leon's current sidearm as per canon is a tacticooled p226. There's a Tokyo Marui airsoft model of it already, I'm sure.
>>33907765
>But does it have a muzzle flash in the shape of the Tetragrammaton symbol
Post softly; you're treading on my dreams.
>>33907827
According to the directors commentary that muzzle flash was real, by having a device in the barrel, i can imagine it being doable DESU aslong as you only fire blanks with it
>>33903214
nice!
more pics?
>>33903961
John doesn't have a P30L just a standard P30 with a match weight
>>33905831
>You mean execution??
Processing.
>>33907885
imfdb lists it as a p30l but I guess they might be wrong
>>33907903
I'm wrong, it is an L, for some reason it always seems like a standard when I watched the flick
>>33906162
the price is that it's airsoft.
Bring me my longsword, ho!
>>33907835
>Flash suddenly makes a 90 degree turn for no reason.
Bullshit. Not only is it physically impossible as the other anon said, every source I can find says it was added in post. Source of gtfo.
I really want one
>>33907988
and I really want one like this too
>>33906180
Going to Wednesday. I'll post about it. Try to make a video or something too.
>>33907860
Fell asleep last night after posting, moar coming.
>>33904223
Pic related, decent view of the guide rod.
I fucking love my Berettas.
since we're talking about fictional berettas, this is what i want
>>33908372
Kek, seams like the 92 is the go to gun for scifi/fantasy mods.
>just got an inox 92fs
>now kind of want a black one with the opposite pieces colored silver
get a suppressor for it
Does anyone have a Beretta 92s? How are they?
>>33907772
i would suggest that you only use a brigadier since shaving the roll mark off a regular 92fs may compromise slide integrity
>>33908830
noice
>>33908488
I wouldn't do any changes that would effect the function or structural integrity of the gun. I've wanted a RE 92 style pistol since I played RE back in the 90's, but I care more about function over form. I'm too picky with handguns these days, and I keep buying the same style of guns that suite my needs.
Currently trying to replicate the original release of "The Professional". I first saw the movie on VHS and it was almost 25" short than what you can buy today. The current release (or at least all the ones I've found) are the "extended" or "international" version with all sorts of awkward romance and weird behavior from Mathilda. I can't find the original version so I'm trying to replicate it.
>>33909191
is that imovie? good luck
>>33909372
Yeah I gave up, found every scene that needed to be cut and some things were just missing. The scenes would chop off and be missing transitions. I don't know much about video editing either so.
>>33909430
I had no idea there were even multiple cuts of leon. It sounds like an interesting side project but editing skills are a must.
>>33903214
Nice. I'm still looking around to pick up a complete 92fs upper for my Leon build so I can swap between my threaded barrel and the compensator easily.
>>33903214
N O I C E
I remember you from the Beretta Generals. Good job, son.
>>33909466
Yeah, the common one is the extended one. Often called the "extended" or "international" or "director's" cut. The original was released because the perversion and sexual advances by Mathilda did not go over well and it was decided that cutting most of it out would be better for American audiences.
The scenes where Mathilda and Leon go on hits together were all cut out too. The scene where she shoots the crack dealer with the paintball 1911 and the scene were Leon tosses a grenade in that guys apartment were cut out for the original and I think these cuts make it better, because it hides the films age. The cheesiness of a grenade being thrown in an apartment and the "mock" paintball hits show the films 80s-90s filmography standards. Cut all that out and you get what is in my opinion a timeless film because it doesn't have any scenes that could be enhanced with modern filmography, hence "timeless".
>>33909523
Greetings anon, I finally did it. Got the few hundred and found "Rick" and now I have my Leon Gun. I want to write website for this Rick guy but he has literally NO imagery of his product I have no idea how he has been selling comps.
>>33909506
I am pretty sure I've seen em. At least the slide, then you can buy a barrel guiderod and spring ect. from Beretta.
>>33908372
aww hel yis
>>33909808
Yeah but then i see the budget and think I should just get another 92fs. Fuck it I might.
It is gonna get quiet before it gets loud.
I'm not a robot
>>33909808
always nice to see fellow /k/inoisseurs
>>33910048
Kek, yeah I'll prolly add an m9 to my Beretta collection one day just for muh Marin Crops Lore.
>>33910059
I mean shit there's a beat to shit slide on ebay for $250 and I can get a whole 92fs for $450
>>33910087
Well the slide is at least 1/3 of the gun so it sound about right. And $450 is what I would consider a good deal, typically an out of the box 92fs is $500.
>>33908372
I'm working on getting one made. Only issue is the slide and barrel, everything else is just an INOX 92FS, even though Revy's gun is actually a 92F.
>>33908395
I'll buy it off you so we can both make our dreams become real.
>>33910050
>.45 can
Always wish they'd make a .45 ACP 92FS, maybe call it the 97FS or something.
That, or a 10mm 92FS would be nice.
>>33904068
Those are fucking ugly, though.
Next step, the Victor gun.
>>33909808
What was up with the paintball when she hit Jay Leno with a rubber bullet?
>>33907765
That's not a tetragramaton. I'd google it and show you a picture, but I've decided that's your homework assignment
>>33911193
Tetragramaton, capital T. It's a proper noun in this context.
>>33907988
Is this a dagger I see before me?
>>33911247
But am I wrong
>>33911345
Yes.
And a sperg, to boot.
>>33910050
I think I remember shooting this thing at a couple events.
>>33905875
fuck dude, go rub one out or something
>>33908367
They look great man, and this is coming from a non-beretta fan
>>33907772
Get the brig if you want it to be an accurate replica
No one will ever tell me that 92 FS isn't the best gun just for all the love it gets.
>>33909191
Jokes on you I own the original DVD
>>33911170
What do you mean?
>>33912052
Thank you anon.
>>33913551
Fuck anon! Rip that shit for me!
>>33913551
Now you have to deliver.
It must be added to the ar/k/.
>>33906180
The actual SGS comp works well when the ammo has enough gas to make it work. Otherwise the weight of the gun plus the weight of the comp does most of the work.
There are guys that run these things in 96fs converted to .357sig
And one guy has what LOOKS like a bone stock 92fs Inox, but it's a 10mm
>>33908438
They're fine.
The sights are low and tiny. I painted mine with neon paint.
The magwell is not flared at all; it's a tight fit. You have to have the mag straight and lined up or you'll think you have the wrong magazine as it gets hung up.
Mag release is the low spot like some other Berettas.
I have a threaded 92 barrel from SilencerCo on mine. Works fine that way too.
I got it because I like how the 92 series looks and because the 92s matches my .22 Beretta perfectly down to the mag release location. For serious use I would probably reconsider and get a more modern version. Not because the S is bad, but because the updated designs are more practical and it's barely 200 dollar difference.
>>33903214
Great, you have a Leon Gun...but do you have a Natalie Portman loli?
>>33911292
>LongSword 9mm
>>33911193
>That's not a tetragramaton.
The Tetragramaton is the name of the of the organization that runs the country in Equilibrium.
That symbol is the symbol of the organization.
Don't be a retard.
>>33914798
Most 92 series barrels are interchangeable with the 92s?
>>33908372
>Berreta will never make a long slide version of the 92fs
>An accurate, functional replica of Revy's cutlasses will never exist
>>33917980
I "Think" so.
The SilencerCo one I have was just sold as a Beretta 92 Series barrel.
>>33918028
Alright thank you my dude. I was gonna get an Inox barrel for the 92s for the almost Samurai Edge look, but don't want to get fucked and have it not work
