In Cod 4 my favorite thing to do was take an M21 with Steady Aim, jesus christ it was so fun to hipfire a god damn sniper rifle at someone around a corner and shred them instantly. Good for range too.

Beyond that though, M4 all the way man, with a suppressor, double tap, and bandolier i was unstoppable

Man, I must have wasted months on this game. I was that one faggot with the AA-12 and scavenger claymores hiding in the corner of the map. I might have been cancer in human form, but at least I was having fun.

Favorite gun was the AUG. Great irons, and with stopping power I got two shots to kill at any range. Heartbeat for cancer or grip to remove the negligible recoil.

Damn this brings back memories. Best CoD.

Anyone else remember believing the AK47 was some godly rifle that was the most advanced small arm in earth because it took being level 70 to unlock when in real life it was a 60+ year old rifle with tapco furniture on it and an m4 buffer tube. Wow I am glad I was not as autistic about firearms back in middle school when this game came out as I am now. I mean it makes no sense that Russian forces in the current decade would be using tacticool AKM's when invading a country instead of AK74 variants, but I do t think that the people at Infinity Ward didn't allot of research when making this game. Still good times though, playing MW2 with friends back in middle school was a blast and I hold those memories fondly.

Silenced RPD with Hearbeat and Claymores was god tier for Search and Destroy on defense. First nuke was with AK though.
