The RFB takes FAL mags.
I would strongly prefer something that takes normal (i.e., SR-25) .308 magazines.

No. FAL mags were the right choice; there aren't 10,000 different minutely tweaked versions, they're actually available, and they're also normally reliable.

An SR-25 mag version would be something I wouldn't buy.

The first orders just started shipping a couple of days ago, so I expect some youtube shenanigans soon.
