Any gifs or infographics to help me git gud at shooting?
>>33883862
That infograph is wrong tho
>>33883898
Why?
>>33883862
I actually grab it like in the middle pic. If it did the left most, my shots would be off to the left.
In all honesty, it depends on the person and trigger pull weight.
>>33883862
this kind of infographic is cancer
theres way too much going into how you fire a pistol to just put out this single image like doing this one thing is going to magically produce center mass groups
TLDR shoot guns, do what works for you based on shit like this. theres too many variables to say that only finger position matters or that changing this will matter for you, with your pistol

here u go friendo
Should help
>>33883862
>tfw hand too big
>tfw fingers specifically are too long
What's my best option? Become a fingering pornstar, or try to CC a huge gun like a Deagle or hunting revolver?
>>33883862
Does anyone else here like to print out enemies from vidya and shoot at them or is that too autistic?
>>33884078
I like printing funny targets, like generic terroristman with a dog but with "ATF" slapped on the guy, or anime girls in daki styles
>>33883906
Because people have different sized hands
>>33883906
Because people`s hands are not all the same size.
Wanna know the secret to getting targets like the leftmost picture on OPs picrelated? Here you go:
STOP PUSHING THE FUCKING GUN TO THE SIDE AS YOU SQUEEZE THE TRIGGER.
>>33884070
finger placement is literally the least important factor involved in any of this
all the other stuff will immediately affect your shooting. but as far as finger placement and stances, you kinda just go do whatever is natural. if you're needing to make a conscious effort to contort your finger into a strange position just to have it like it is in these pics, you're not going to be consistent, and repitition or training won't make it less unnatural.
>>33883906
BECAUSE YOU GOTTA SINK THAT FINGER TO GET YOUR.... "BLAZE ON"
>>33884078
>profligate
>>33884055
>that breathing shit
One, its not a rifle
Two, what is this shit? Call of duty? Fucking trash
>>33883862
How do I see/know where I'm aiming if I'm focused on the front sight and the target is blurry?
>>33884789
its not just a single step. When you first look down the sights you should acquire your target and line up the front sight post against it. You should then focus on the front sight, allowing the target to blur in your vision while still keeping the front sight on the target.
>>33883862
for pistol, train with a empty casing placed on top of the slide.
try to pull trigger without the casing fall off.
this is the best exercise you can do
>>33884078

>>33884906
deadlifts are the best exercise you can do; balancing shit on your front sight is a party trick that won't teach you anything that normal dry-fire wouldn't just as well
You should now know how to shoot at moving things.
>>33885085
lol
>>33884944
I've still got about 50 osama targets left.
Him sitting, standing, and shooting a gun. Also pikachu. I fucking hate that thing.
>>33885099
I think one of the best things about Red Orchestra is that it is the only game to my knowledge that actually simulates bullet travel accurately enough to make it so you actually have to aim ahead of moving targets
>>33884078
>not shooting Khans or NCR instead
>>33883862
This is at 25 meters, how am I doing?
>>33884078
>not whisper yelling at enemy NPCs.
>>33885551
not so good Sam
>>33885590
What your 25 meter?
>>33885531
Terrible trolling attempt
>>33885636
>>33885595
1"-2" rifle or rimfire pistol
4-5" centerfire pistol
I'm not a very good pistol shooter though
>>33885551
what are you shooting? buck shot?
>>33885678
Glock 23 standing at 25 meters.
>>33885688
>Bring target up at 3 yards and shoot until you get a good group
>Move to 5 yards and repeat
>Continue until your groups start opening up
>Only focus on achieving that distance
>Spend time dry-firing correctly
>Maybe rent a .22LR pistol to get the basic accuracy
>>33885688
25m is pretty far for someone who doesnt know how to shoot with a pistol.
Only perfect practice makes perfect shots.
>>33885715
what's your group at 25 meters?
>>33884042
This is the most correct infograph i've seen on this board.
