Objection, close observation will reveal that both of those guns retain the horrible serrated "target" trigger that they came off the boat with.

That said, one of the reasons I prefer Glocks over other combat tupperware is how large the aftermarket is and how easy it is to tailor the gun to suit your needs.
If I wanted a smooth, heavy, consistent, revolver-like trigger in a M&P or XD, I'd be SOL, but with a Glock I can just polish the internals and drop in a $2 spring and be all set.
The Glock is perfect the way a fat block of marble is perfect: it's ready for you to do whatever you want to it and it's not going to throw any curveballs to impede your vision.
