Just got this set up today. Babbys first rifle with a scope. I want to get into longer shooting then I can with my revolvers, and retire my mauser. Ripped soda cans a new asshole at 200+ yards. Im jazzed with that.

You're meant to have it the other way so you can lean into it. If the legs fold towards you when you lean into it, the legs will close.

Hey its cheapshit and I make some good handloads for it that let me pop holes in squirrels, soda cans and 6" steel plates at 500 yards

What is the next best rifle and caliber for babby wanting to go even farther distances, price per round dosnt matter because reloading and how affordable is building a rifle than buying.

Not really a full-on precision rifle, but it shoots true and works fine out to at least 500 metres - My rangefinder craps out at 300 metres, so I had to use my sea charts and found it to be just shy of 0.3 nM - I shot at a navigational marker out on an islet and got maybe 1-2 MOA at that range, though I won't say for sure that it was because of the gun and not a meat error. For being my first rifle, and one I intend to use for hunting, I'm well satisfied.

When I get my next rifle in, I reckon I'll replace the scope with something more suitable for long range precision shooting, what with my current scope not having very much room for adjustment. I've got my eyes on the IOR Recon, which I've heard a lot of good things about, including the price. I'm also definitely looking to replace the suppressor with something more quiet - The Hausken WX656 looks great like that.

24" CTR T3x 6.5CM, pst ebr2c mrad 6-24, SiCo Omega, Caldwell bipod that's JB welded.

Loading up some 143 eldx and getting 140eld-m when I can. Hoping to get 2800ft/a with the RL-16, lapua brass and CCI 450's.

The accurate mags are AICS copies right? Do they feed into the Howa with no modification? I thought Howa had trouble with AICS mags.

I mostly shoot fox + deer but I have

I have got it down to 1MOA by home loading.

I have my own land and have targets at 100m and 350m. Going to set one at 500m next.

And access to them is often restricted due to max member count limits imposed by the military base which it is on...

We do have 600m one, but it's literally on the other side of the country. Guess I'll need to suck it up and just drive.
