They're pretty great, albeit a bit pricey. If you're just getting an upper, I say go for it. I have their 10.5" upper and it has never given me problems, unlike the DD Mk18 upper that is overgassed to shit.

To my understanding, KAC took the LMT BCG and improved upon it. LMT may have developed something better since then, but I'm not sure.
