Dear /k/,
I am looking for a good set of electronic earmuffs, the bigger the NRR the better.
I also work in a machine shop and I would like them to do double duty and be able to wear them all day there.
What is a good comfy set to pick up? Performance and comfort trump cost.
And not a single fuck was given on this day

Peltor tactical 500

I have a similar set, its cool to crank the assist up high you can hear a bit further in a quiet area.
I use them in a enclosed shooting area and still use foam plugs under and I feel no ill hearing effects after shooting loud shit like mosins and magnum slugs and can still hear when someone wants to go downrange.

Or Peltor MT15H7F SV, which is bit older and hence now more affordable model with radio plug-in, but no bluetooth connectivity like in tactical 500. Both have similar 26 dB NRR. I have a pair of MT15H7F, due to having plenty of space for ears they are quite comfy to wear for expended periods. Field artillery here uses them.
