Getting a barrel go with my 13" Geissele MK8 rail and can't decide on a gas system: 14" w/ carbine gas or 14.5" w/ midlength?

I'm going to use a Surefire SOCOM556-RC2 suppressor after my stamp gets approved but I'm worried about unsuppressed reliability with a midlength since I shoot outdoors during northern WI winters.

Other worry is over-gassing and blowback with a suppressed carbine in a 14" barrel. I do like that carbine gas should eat through any ammo, including steel wolf and .223, in cold weather no problem

Looking at building a lightweight SBR. What light weight parts should I look at getting, and what parts should I not even bother with trying to get light weight versions of? As it stands, so far I've been looking at getting the following in light weight materials:

Upper/lower (2A Arms)
Rail (2A Arms)
Buffer tube (VSeven)
BCG (haven't decided)

Should I bother going with titanium lower parts and pins, or is that all just inconsequential?

honestly after shooting it yesterday, i would recomend a better rear sight at the minimum, the ruger rear sight is kinda meh and a magpul knockoff.

it ran great for me, but to be fair its only had one range trip so far.
and dont let these angry anons and random tripfags scare you, theres nothing "OMFG PROPRIETARY!" that will prohibit you from modifying the gun unless you want a 450$ DD FSP RIS II rail, because the front sight post on the ar556 is a machined aluminum fsp with a bayonet lug, wick detach point, and it may be a little bit bigger but still the same height for co-witnesses.
