Are these real leather or synthetic leather types? The pouches dont look like leather except the tab straps.

Do ya'll niggas actually wear your sks pouches on the sling? Isnt that a little cumbersome? I just put them on my belt.

I don't know if you'll have an answer, but do you know where the russian soldier put their cleaning kit pouch? I don't know if they had a designated area like how you would with a canteen or ammo pouch on your person.

I received two of them with one SKS I bought years ago which were coated in some kind of black rubber instead of the brown vinyl.

They smelled like a combination of a moldy dirt basement and Vladmir Lenin's asshole so I traded them to a buddy for extra stripper clips.

I would but it's honestly not worth the trouble, they're not worth very much. You can probably get them for $1.00 apiece tops at your local gun show. These things are everywhere, I bet if you turned over some of the rocks in your front yard you'd find some nugget pouches underneath.

If only, Although that can be said for US milsurp here. I once found a Vietnam era ALICE belt in the mud, literally just been half buried there for who knows how long. Also have found three 80's era M16 mags under some junk in a cooler in one of our shops.

A few of these came with my 1928 nugget. I assumed they were older than 50s. Thats a wee bit dissapointing

They are neat but so old and hard to open i dont think I'll ever use them. maybe some leather lotion will help

Neat info, wouldn't really call them high quality but they certainly get the job done, if a bit slower than normal. Thinking about getting some pouches to hold muh fuddy fuddy ammo, torn between putting them in brown paper packages tied up with string or sewing elastic loops backed with card
