HK45 vs S&W1911

I have both a USP 45 and a S&W1911. Get the 1911, S&W makes an excellent one for the money and everyone should have at least 1 1911 in their collection. I enjoy shooting the 1911 much more than the Usp. To me USP is just a duty gun.

Personally, I'd get the 1911, but I'd check to see if it's a Series 70. Some Smith models are, while others are not.

Get the Ruger SR1911 - it's a series 70 without an external extractor and doesn't have the Hillary Hole mainspring housing like Springfield does.

The Ruger 1911s are actually really nice. I shot 100 rounds through my neighbor's wifes full size one last weekend and I was pleasantly surprised. They are quite affordable and not fuck-ugly like a lot of Rugers. If you are a richfag, I'm going to guess you are since Massfag, go with a Sig 1911
