But what about ambi bolt release?

Not that anon, but I have an M6IC lower on one of my rifles. Ambi catch/release is something I find smooths out the rough spots of bolt manipulation for me only in 2 specific scenarios; loading when prone (release) and manually locking the bolt to the rear (catch) for range safety/admin or (even though I haven't had any with the rifle) type 3 malfunctions.
Now I have a safe full of other ARs that have more standard controls so perhaps I am just too used to them to really let the ambi bolt controls affect how I use the rifle, but for me at least I think the ambi catch is what really provides improvement, the release is the much less useful part of the equation.
