How insanely quiet is that thing?

I ask because that is my most recent acquisition as well, not counting ammo.

I'm going to mate it with a still in jail AAC element 2 for what should be a supremely quiet pea shooter. Still not sure on stock/scope. How much magnification did you go with?

Do those bimetal bullets fuck up barrels? Should i not be firing those through a rem 700?
>>
>>33859357
It'd be more tolerable if there wasn't a $200 tax thrown in there on top of the cost. And in the end that hassle you really only get a 30-40 decibel reduction for anything outside of .22 LR or certain pistol calibers

>Do those bimetal bullets fuck up barrels?
You'll probably buy a new gun multiple times with the savings before you shot it enough to make a difference. Per 1000rd shots, you'll save 200-300 bucks assuming you're comparing it to buying 55-60c/r shipped ammo.
And I'm guessing you'll be shooting from a cold, or near cold barrel too. I'm pretty sure that makes a huge difference vs magdump after magdump on a heated barrel.

No pic since at work but a 20ga condor supreme with 4 chokes and about 300 shells of assorted load. She'll put two sabot slugs inside 3 inches at 80 yards. Bottom barrel is shooting low and right, but since I got for skeet, waterfowl, and upland birds I'm ok with that. Not as fancy as some if these funs but I've been drooling over an o/u that doesn't cost 4 digits for some time.

You could try peening the dovetail slightly. Knock the front sight out, tap the lip of the dovetail in with a brass hammer, clean off the brass marks and tap the front sight back in. It doesn't take much. Should be solid, I had to do this with my P7M8.

Cool, they look very similar to SilencerCo CTA baffles.

Kinda sucks that Henry Graham's design is getting passed around like a Swedish girl at a mosque but it's a great design that deserves proliferation.

>>33861256
Bullets go in the small side and exit the large side, the baffles nest together with one cone inserting inside the adjacent baffle. The "mouse holes" cause turbulence behind the projectile, which causes gasses to better deflect into the subsequent baffle cone rather than trail behind the bullet. The baffles snap together into a sealed stack to prevent crud from building up on the outer aluminum tube for easier disassembly.

This is an older Henry Graham design but the concept is similar, the baffles snap together into a stack which slides into the tube. The end cap threads on to secure them at one end and the other...

Take the spacer off the left side of your diagram and put it on the empty space on the right.

You shouldn't have been able to install the baffle stack the way you have depicted, it would be too long...

Browning B2000 with 24" skeet barrel, 30" high-rib trap barrel, and 28" normal all-around barrel.

>>
>>33859258
Not really, or at least not if you plan on shooting it much or expecting good accuracy out of it.

Everything about them is crude and roughly machined. They're durable, but they're inaccurate and take forever to clean due to an extremely rough bore, and they have like 20lb gritty trigger pulls.
