Poorfags on this board have a kneejerk reaction to hate anything HK, despite the fact you can get that gun for around $500.

I had one. Traded it for a repro PU. The Vp9 was a great range toy and I taught a lot of people to shoot on it because it's so easy to manipulate(makes it great for taking women to the range). I prefer my USPc though.
>>
>>33856212
No hate, but I've never actually seen one for sale. HK is Unicorns around here and I don't buy guns I can't hold first.

Go neck yourself kid. R&D,testing, import fees, marketing and export fees come into play. You probably think Glocks should cost $200 too you little shit. $500-$700 for a handgun isn't even that expensive.

P30 and USP series exist and it didnt need a striker fired afterthought version to try and take some quick sales away from glock

theres pistols that are made from the ground up to be glock competitors, and theres pistols that are just "meh might as well make a striker version"

honestly if you're spending more than glock prices on any striker fired DAO pistol you should be ashamed of yourself, buying bronze-plated shit doesnt make it not shit

If you have a P30 v1 (or anything with light LEM) how do you like it? Thinking about getting a P30L light lem and a p30sk light lem to make manipulations of my nightstand and carry gun the same. Would require selling my M&P 9mm and springfield xd subcompact, but I'm not really attached to them and the LEM seems pretty neato.

This.
>>33862985
Not that anon but I have a P30 LEM V1 and it's great. It's feels like a single action with a long trigger pull. Grip is comfy, the only downside is the price of mags and it doesn't come with night sights because Cuckland doesn't like anything radioactive.

Def get the P30L/SK combo.
>>
>>33863088
Well, sounds like it's time to sell 2 guns for the price of the P30SK and save up for the P30L. Only thing left is to go find a place to rent.

Got a serious hardon for them after seeing the 75+k rounds in under a year on PF.

>>
There's a P30 in my area for a great price, but it's the V3. Are the triggers that bad on them? Seems to be a common complaint.
>>
HK fags think it cheapens the brand. That is literally the only problem they have with it. All the sudden their precious brand became affordable to most everyone and is no longer an "exclusive club". Same reason people shit on luxury car companies that market and entry level offering. see maserati ghibli.
>>
>>33863643
I'd rather have the cheapest BMW than the most expensive honda. This mentality is stupid and basically woman tier.
>>
>>33856212

>>
>>33856558
You understand that individual police departments are allowed to chose their sidearms, right? There are tons of Walthers, HKs, Glocks, etc being used on the local and federal levels of the German government.

glockfags really are the worst
>>
Probably because they tried selling a $500 for $650-800 at shops and gunshows for a year. They've gone done near me recently but still around $580-630 in price
>>
>>33857334
I own a VP9. The magazine does rattle just a little bit in the bottom. Unless you're OCD about that sort of thing, you won't ever notice it.
>>
>>33863643
In my country the USP is only marginally more expensive than the VP9. VP9 = 800 mountain shekels, USP = 600 mountain shekels, price of McDonald's Bid Mac = 8 mountain shekels.

Because it wasn't as good as HK's hammer guns but it wasn't as cheap as the established striker guns from other companies. It pretty much just kinda falls through the cracks.
>>
>>33858603
DA/SA with a manual safety (NOT a decocker) is best. It's the safest, you will always use the same trigger pull outside of second strikes (which you can't even do with striker guns), and it has the best feeling trigger.
>>
>>33864947
>thinking we give a shit about cheapening of the brand.
no you moron, we care cause is just another striker fired jump on the bandwagon attempt, sure glock got the right idea they built what will arguably be seen for net 50 years, BUT HK always went their own way in terms of engineering. the USP, the mark 23 are built better.

I actually have 2 of them (but P30Ls), they are my EDC, range gun, nightstand gun, they are all I use.

LEM is my favorite trigger system ever - even when I was an FNSfag I would espouse the advantages and fantastic design characteristics of the LEM module.

1. It's HK
2. People watched the MAC video and believed it to be an accurate assessment (fails when wet? kek.)
3. It's the cool thing to do.

Great ergos, great barrel, good trigger for a striker, reliable as a service or carry pistol. Only situation I might have reservations about would be if I were a snake eater crawling through miles of mud (which everyone on this board pretends they are).

It'll be easier to order one from an online distributor or gun store and then just provide them with the correct FFL holder you want them to ship to. Just find a local gunstore that takes in transfers and ask them how much it'll cost for the transfer.

The m1 while still ships to the U.S. by Walther they will be in limited quantities because the m2 button mag release is so incredibly popular among U.S. shooters.
