It honestly doesn't matter. Chances are they won't use it for utility as they're not used to carrying a blade. They'll forget they have it even when they need it, or just lose it out of carelessness before they get an opportunity to use it. Most women think it's everyone else's job to keep them safe and take no personal responsibility to defend themselves. She'll use the pepper spray at most. Majorily, they are more scared of harming others than getting harmed themselves.
