I can't stand the trend these days, modern gun design in general, where they push the bore lower and lower away from the sights. Ranges under 20 yards, it causes variations in poi elevation vs poa. Fine for a battle rifle shooting 300 yards but I want more precision in a close up range toy.

Considering that display at the NRA National Convention just a couple weeks ago was the first time they'd publicly announced they were even gonna make it I assumed it would be months if not years before they were commercially available. Think a binary trigger system would make it better? I have no idea how the action works or if it would have the same problem as the Franklin BFS in an AR, but with such a high cyclic rate it would be hard to override the trigger.

You could achieve the same exact results simply by shifting the bore axis down. The whole exotic bolt mechanism is totally extraneous, it's the low bore axis that gives you the perceived recoil reduction.

That being said, recoil reduction isn't very important for a pistol caliber carbine. There really isn't much recoil to get rid of, especially if you're shooting in semi-auto.

I'm not sure how well their recoil system works or if the system makes the gun itself less reliable somehow, as I do not own one.

I still think they're cool and I want one.
