Join the Coast Guard and actually dedicate your time to saving American lives. You don't have to kill people in order to serve your country.

Thinking about airforce TACP. My serious gf is scared as fuck bc I'm really into military surplus/camping/weaponry. Already asked me to pls not join. I know she'd support me no matter what but it just feels bad knowing I'd be scaring the shit out of her every day of deployment. Also I don't want to go and kill Syrians bc I feel as though they are the good guys in this conflict.

It's just a confusing situation desu.
