Cant set up account need credit card only have debit card what do? should I contact the seller to see if he would auction it off on ebay?

He has multiple items of the same and no bids.

Debit should work. I've used it on there before. If not, I'd contact him.

Debit=credit in this case

Wouldn't recommend gunbroker its shit, might aswell buy shit at msrp since the sellers have a bottem line price that u have to pass to be able to be able to buy,so no 700 rounds for 7 bucks because the fuker puts his secret price at 500 if he wants

You can filter them out by clicking the red 'no reserve' button. But I will say I do like armslist better. You can actually haggle and decent deals do come up, at least in my area.
>>
>>33845115
Sort by no reserve you nigger
>>
>>33844978
Gunbroker has the same issues as ebay had 10 years ago such as vendors wanting 3-5% more for credit cards, reserve prices and its credit card system is in its infancy.

You only need a credit card if you want to sell and you have a free email (gmail/yahoo/ect). If you want to buy you don't need to enter any card information.

Also, assuming you are over 18 (as you are on 4chan and no one ever posts underage) you should have a credit card. Having good credit is getting more and more important for more than just loans (employers are starting to look at it too).
>>
>>33844978
Get a credit card you retard. Debit cards are for poor people.
>>
>>33845115
>They always do
Nah.

Here's the thing with gunbroker: you can't treat it like amazon where you think "ima buy this shit today". You have to stalk it for weeks at least to find a good deal.

What do you mean by legit? Given that they're selling several of the same item, it's a gun store so yes.

However, given that they're a gun store selling several of the same item in one listing, that's probably msrp with their store markup. After you pay transfer fees it's not a great deal.
>>
>>33845131
This is the first time I've really looked at a 90-2. The curve on the slide is subtly futuristic. It's like the space version of the beretta.

Why the fuck can't I shoot handguns well? I have it gripped tight and properly, I have my sights aligned right on target, I hold my breath right as I'm squeezing the trigger, my stance is fine, and yet seems to go wherever it pleases. I can shoot a rifle just fine.
>>
>>33845508
Are the sights staying still all the way through your trigger press?
Trigger control is like 90% of handgun marksmanship.
You may need to dry-fire more/better.

I want to get an AK. So stupid question:
>century AK's are shit, but century WASR 10's, N-PAP, Zastava are ok? Aren't they still made by century?
>>
>>33845569
The price doesn't seem out of line with the other 90-2s on gunbroker so it probably is what it is.

Then again, I don't know the market for that specific gun so I'm just going by other listings. Email or call them if you want.
>>
>>33845602
So far as I'm aware Century just imports Zastava made N-PAPs.
>>
Same OP, forgot to add a question about getting an AK
>How do i know if the AK I am getting is designed for single stack mags? Can pretty much any mag work in any AK?
>>33845602
>>
>>33845724
Most single stack AKs will mention it being a single stack.
I'm not sure what you mean by "can any mag be used in any ak", obviously it has to be an AK mag and in the same caliber, but for the most part, yes.
The exceptions being some factory saiga and vepr mags, as they are made for guns without bullet guides.
Also,Century imported guns are fine, their American made ones are the guns to avoid (C39 and RAS47)

Lurk /akg/ for awhile, or go read all the old threads in the archive.
Plenty of information to be had.

Im getting a maverick 88, it has a 3 inch chamber, will it fuck up my my chamber if I shoot the 3 1/2 magnum loads? I'm no shotgun expert, but I'm pretty sure that it having a 3" chamber means that 3½" shells won't even fit.

How safe are Glock handguns to use? Do they really explode that much in your hand?

What are the differences between the Glock 29, the Glock 29 Gen 4 and the Glock 29 SF handguns?
>>
>>33847630
The glocknade came from early Glock 22s not having enough chamber support for .40 S&W and a few exploded. It was fixed fairly quickly by Glock and it never happened again.

Overall, Glocks are kinda meh, they're good for civilian/LE use but not that good for military use.

>>
>>33847630
The Glock 29 is Glock's "subcompact" (actually G19-sized) 10mm Auto pistol.
The 29 SF (Short Frame) is a Gen3 29 modified so that its grip is shorter back-to-front to better accommodate shooters with normal-sized hands.
The 29 Gen4 is the current version featuring a dual-spring RSA, an improved grip texture, and interchangeable backstraps, the small being SF-sized, the medium being the size of previous generation Glock pistols, and the large being a bit silly.

Everybody knows that in the United States a rifle with a barrel over 0.50 inches in diameter is a destructive device. How do they measure the diameter, is it lands or grooves, or the average of the two?

Disregarding that, what prevents a person from making a huge rifle, something reminiscent of a 20mm anti-tank rifle, but in 50 calibre with an extremely long bullet in order to achieve a similar bullet mass? Would the projectile be too unstable?
>>
>>33854070
>Would the projectile be too unstable?
Yes.

But get this, the T-Gewehr, Germany's anti-tank rifle in World War 1 is considered a normal gun. Because while a complete cartridge is huge, it's necked down so much the projectile is the same diameter as a k98k round.

Basically, it was made to kill tanks, but its still totally legal even in Jew York.

Some race guns do have finned cooling sleeves on the barrels.

But for most applications it just isn't worth the bother.

I think the 11.5 might actually be a not-terrible idea for a dedicated suppressor host, since those have a tendency to heat up a bit faster than unsuppressed guns, especially in an SBR format.

You could try to find a gunsmith or machinist to either create or modify a finned barrel if money's really no object.

Also, a product without a market isn't worth a company's time. It won't happen unless there's demand. I've had a few ideas that I think would be sweet, but no one makes. I just write it down and save it for when I get my shop set up, maybe make a buck for myself one day.

Hello, I was hoping somone could help me find some information on a KHAN singlebarrel pump action shotgun that my grandfather has. we're kind of perplexed, i cant find a damn thing about a khan singlebarrel pump action. the closest thing i came across was someone else online just as lost as me and the Khan website is a joke if you need any information on thier firearms and a google image of an old flyer advertising the gun, but no price or actual information, i couldnt even see a date.
please help, my grandfather has had it for a long time and we just want to know its value/rarity/story. all we know is that its turkish and it may be a sg1065,but i cant find ANY pictures to compare it to, so im not sure thats it.
sorry i dont have pictures of the gun, i left his house without snapping one :/

He says it has about 4-5k rounds through the gun.
should I be concerned of any accuracy drop because of the round count or am I still gtg for awhile?
also came with two holsters and a box of HP ammo

Bought my first shotgun today, a 12 gauge pump action.

First time I ever shot a shotgun, too.

The recoil fucked me up. Pretty bad. Bruised my shoulder. I was only using game loads, too. I thought my posture was right, I tried different stances and it still felt like I was hit by a train. I'm 6"2 and 260 pounds.

>>
>>33861332
It depends on whether the seller is using "mil-spec" to describe the construction, finishes, and testing procedures involved in the bcg's production (may or may not fit) or as a synonym for M16/full-auto (definitely won't fit).
If the bcg isn't explicitly described as semi-auto or M16/full-auto, then you should contact the manufacturer and ask them whether it'll fit in your old Colt.

Thanks for your clarification.

I live in the communist state of CT and just purchased my first preban lower. A preban lower is quite an investment and I would rather find a setup that works than start grinding away.

A lot of manufacturers specify their carriers fit both semi auto and full auto in the description, making this kind of confusing.

Typically this is to reassure people about using an M16 carrier in a semi gun.

Half cock is there as a primitive drop safety and to keep the hammer from dropping on a live round if your thumb slipped while manually decocking.
The CZ-75 was designed to be carried cocked and locked.
If you don't feel comfortable operating a manual safety lever under stress (which is fine and totally understandable) then consider getting a CZ with a decocking lever, or a Glock, or a shoulder gun.

So, I have an SKS that once belonged to a wicked Bubba who put a polymer stock on it and added a bunch of tacticool shit that I removed. I recently got a lovely original-style wood stock to replace the worn polymer one, and I have two very important questions.

First, is it legal to have a Chinese bayonet on my SKS in Ohio?

Second, it came with tapco 20-rounders, and despite some people saying they're shit they've always worked fine for me, so I'd like to keep using them. Do I need to do anything special to the new stock for it to take them?

Nice dubs, friend.

Just like eBay, craigslist, etc..., there will always be:

>now lowballers
>I know what I gots!

Generally, the deals aren't too great, but if you're looking for surplus or older stuff, it's a great tool if you put the footwork in.

Bought my first shotgun, an American made Browning Auto-5 for $300 + shipping/ffl

That's the same if not cheaper than buying a new Mossman 500.

Pic somewhat related, the only thing "wrong" with it was that the recoil spring was worn out pretty bad and it needed some cleaning.

Other than that, it runs like a raped ape and eats everything from cheap no.7.5 shot to foster slugs.

The only difference between eBay and GunBroker is that GunBroker has (or at least had) a 15 minute rule that basically does away with auction sniping. Kinda nice, basically just overtime for the auction if a bid war flares up at the end.

I don't know the physics behind it. I do know that older rounds tend to have high trajectories like that, with flatter trajectories in newer cartridges. As for skinwalkers, I've never had to deal with them since I live on the prairie. Thunderbirds, however, are a constant annoyance. Flak cannons are the best way to deal with them since SAMs won't lock onto them and anything smaller will just piss them off.

They're fine for military use as long as your military draws its conscripts/recruits from a population of people with normal intelligence. This is why countries like the uk/sweden/Denmark can use them with no problem but the usa cant. You can't train private Jamarcus to keep his finger off the trigger, so a manual safety is needed.

Why would you get a 9mm handgun for hd when you can easily get a far superior ar 15 for that much?

I'm gonna visit my sister in Colorado this summer and do some camping. Can I legally open carry either long guns or pistols?

So, CZ 75 grips. Would grip panels for a Non-B CZ 75 fit an SP-01?

I've heard that modification may be necessary for B grips on a non-B but I don't know about the other way around.

Bought my first pistol with the intent of learning how to shoot a handgun along with the long term goal of CC. I can shoot a longarm just fine, but with any kind of handgun I'm a regular Shotgun Sam. Sure, get close enough and it won't matter, but it irks me that I can't hit what I'm aiming at.

How can I improve my pistol shooting?
>>
>>33870239
Next time you're going to the range, load your gun with a random snap cap every so often. That should help you identify problems with your technique.
>>
>>33869154
It's a fun range toy if you're made of money because it's flat-shooting, basically recoil-free, and really loud.
The safety lever isn't as bad as you'd expect.
It's on the large side for CCW, but you wouldn't want to anyway because 5.7×28mm is just centerfire .22 WMR and has nothing to recommend it over common service calibers unless you have access to the AP ammo and a realistic concern about needing to shoot through soft armor.
It has a magazine disconnect safety, which is gay as hell, and the name Five-seveN is a bit silly.

Europoor here. I believe to have a wrong idea of the American gun culture. To me it seems the average American can go to Wal Mart and buy an AR-15 and ammunition, or a RPG and rockets, or grenades or light machine guns and everything else just like he buys any other thing like Coca Cola, Big Macs, clothes and hygiene products. Is it that simple - no licenses or documents required, all types of carried allowed, and all kinds of firearms allowed - in any State or city? I know it can be a huge pain in the ass to get just one gun in States like California and New York but is there anywhere that fits the description I made? Also, what US cities have the biggest population to "easiness to buy a gun" ratio? For example, I was reading Pittsburgh has a pretty lax gun code and gun laws for a city with 300k people.

In good states you can just walk into a store that's licensed by the federal govt to sell firearms, pick out the one you want, fill out a form indicating that you aren't a felon, drug addict, Communist, illegal alien, wifebeater, etc., wait a couple of minutes for your instant background check to go through, pay for your gun and be on your way.
Some states have ridiculous laws requiring you to wait a few days between buying your gun and taking possession of it on the premise that it'll give you time to "cool off" if you're impulse-buying for the purpose of murdering someone who pissed you off.
RPGs, machine guns, grenades, etc. require a separate form and background check that can take up to a year to process because that department of the ATF is badly understaffed, and a $200 fee that made those sorts of things prohibitively expensive when the law was written in 1934, but hasn't been adjusted for inflation since.
Laws requiring licenses or permits to buy a gun are rare and are generally either California/New York-type far left-ism or remnants of old laws originally intended to prevent blacks from buying guns (North Carolina's pistol permits, for example).
Handgun ammo can't be sold to under-21s, nor rifle/shotgun ammo to under-18s, so one could get asked for state-issued photo ID when buying such in person, but some web stores like Midway USA sell ammo on the honor system.

Is leafland really so far gone under the Castro Jr. regime that they don't understand basic concepts like supply and demand?
>>
>>33871900
I understand it and but still ITS FUCKING WOOD AND METAL and can you answer the second part?
>>
>>33871919
It's an amalgamation of wood and metal designed with 1930s manufacturing techniques in mind, so it's not practical for anyone, even the chinks, to tool up to make more.
The only reason they can cost-effectively crank out M14 knockoffs is because they already had the tooling from us having set up Taiwan to make them.
If you aren't in a naturally Garand-rich environment like the USA, spending $$$$ is your only realistic choice.
Sorry.

There's a K31 at a store near me for $350 and an FN M1900 at another for $400. I want both. Probably shouldn't buy either if we're taking responsible spending into account, but if I were hypothetically to buy one, are either of these a good deal and which one would be the better buy?

I am a recent hazguns.

What will I need to keep my gun from getting fucked, and what are some good accessories to own?

>"Why didn't you just ask the guys at the store?"

Because I am socially autistic, and it was hard enough to just go to the store, point at the gun I wanted, and say bye. I can't deal with the stress of having someone tell me what I should or shouldn't buy, especially since they are trying to sell me what they have in the store - versus just trying to sell me a product without a biased opinion.

Protection from general wear and tear, cleaning, carrying, etc. I am probably going to take a CCW course, so that's why I am asking.

I bought an SP-01.

>SP-01
Fucking right on, man, I wish I had just sized up to the SP instead of my P-01 since I just can't reliably carry it to warrant the smaller size, but I can't really regret my purchase either.

Just get a basic cleaning kit and keep it generally well-kept. With modern ammo and everything, you don't even really need to worry about keeping it super lubed and clean after every single range trip unless you live in the Florida everglades or something.

If you're comfortable carrying the SP-01 then good on you, but a solid, rigid belt and a good holster will definitely be in order. I got a supertuck for my P-01 and aside from the fact that it's a bit of a pain to get the holster on and off the belt, it's definitely a good holster, but do your research as there are holsters just like it built well enough for less money.

The only other thing that comes to mind is that a lot of people get on CZ for their finishes, and granted I haven't put mine through any hard use but I haven't noticed anything worrying yet; worst comes to worst you get it cerakoted or something for less than $200 down the line.
>>
>>33873098

Ty Anon.

I was thinking about buying a P-09 instead since the store had both but I decided I wanted the SP more.
>>
>>33873070
Wait until you see Zasta posting and ask him.
>>
>>33873154
There's just something about an all-metal gun that feels right. Either way you would've made a solid choice. I'm always surprised to see the relative low cost on CZs polymer guns compared to their metal offerings, especially when I see the suppressor-ready polymer guns for way less than an FN tactical or something.

I know I'd love one of their suppressor-ready 07s or 09s they're putting out now, but I can't get past the fact that it's incredibly difficult for me to actuate the slide release one-handed due to the fact that it isn't quite aggressive enough and just slightly out of reach of my fingers. Maybe I'm making a mountain out of a molehill, but the release lever on my P-01 is the perfect amount of aggressive so maybe I'm spoiled by it too.
