It flies!
>>33839506
Give me one good reason why the Blue Angels aren't flying F-35s yet.
It would be the best way to either kill all supporters or dissidents to the program depending on whether or not it crashes.
so how much have they sold to China and Russia already?
>>33840659
Because the Blue Angels will crash one and then blame it on the plane.
>>33840659
Nah, give em' to the Thunderbirds!
>>33840724
not as much as the Turks have
>>33840659
The Blue Angels are moving to Super Hornets Next year
>>33839506
>after they sold the technical plans to china again.
>>33839506
A shame they are just painted grey. Was hoping to see them in the IAF camo.
>>33840659
They hate f35s
Saw a video where they laughed at the idea of using f35s.
Plus, they would require it to not be coated at any level.
And that's simply not possible for several engine components.
You don't want people figuring out what radar wavelength works best against f35s
>>33839506
Aren't there supposed to be 5 of them?
>>33843713
The other two choked their pilots and had to stay in a hangar for their bad behaviour.
>>33843590
Really though, the F-35 isn't a very good aircraft for an airshow. I support the F-35, but the kind of things that make an air show interesting are just not part of the F-35 concept.
That and the cost. The idea of using a highly expensive and advanced aircraft for air displays is simply wasteful.
>>33844088
Its very loud and has great supermanouverability, along with a few little tricks like opening belly bays in flight and the like.
But yes, it is wasteful.
>>33844100
I don't think anyone claims the F-35 is a "super-manoeuvrable" aircraft. I can't imagine the USAF Thunderbirds' F-16C being replaced by the F-35A or the USN Blue Angels' F/A-18C being replaced by the F-35C. The current aircraft flying clean on ~50% internal fuel have far better flight characteristics for a display.

It's actually got far better nose-point control and stable flight at weird angles than anything else in service.
>>33843713
They had to cut back beause of to VTOL requirement
>>33839506
How much did our greatest ally pitch in for the program?
>>33844100
>great supermanouverability
What a crock of shit
Block 15 F-16s and OG F-15s curbstomp it in sustained turning and PTAX
>>33844571
look up what supermanouverability means.
>>33844803
Always fun to see people posting when they don't know what they're talking about
is it possible that the isrealis are already flying their f35s over syria?
>>33844571
>>33844803
>>33839506
Good to know the Jews have the latest killing toys to further their agenda
>>33839506
>pictured is Israels first flight in its new fighters. The planes left Israeli airspace and were last seen headed for Bejing
>>33847301
>That one former A-10 pilot who thought it could take an F-35 in a dogfight
>>33844765
>How much did our greatest ally pitch in for the program?
they held the media at bay until the program was almost finished.
they also promised to not give the olabes over to the chinese for at least 30 days after delivery, unless the chinese offered more shekels.
>>33844803
STR isn't super-manoeuvrability
STR is shit at airshows and overrated for ACM in a post all aspect missile world (ACM is overrated in general desu). Regardless, all the signs point to the F-35 having better STR than the F-18, which is what the blue angels operate anyway.
The blue angels mostly show off the High alpha control ability of the F-18, something which the F-35 excels at (even more than the F-18, even the E/F) with it's 50° AOA limit and superb nose authority across the flight regime.
>>33844751
>>33840659
Because they need an airplane for acrobatics and the F-35 is a huge slow moving airplane.
>>33851851
Most airshow maneuvers take place at pretty slow speeds, where the F-35 excels.
Just imagine
>5 F-35Cs
>2 F-35B as the solos, performing extreme low speed maneuvering with the assistance of the lift fan and vectored thrust
It would be like if they flew Harriers
>>33847392
Lel he wasn't bullshitting either.
>>33851851
no
>>33852071
Well, he didn't know he was, at least.
>>33852209
>comparing to the F15 and THE FUCKING A10
>>33852226
>pilots with an average of 1k+ flight hours on the F-15C, F-15E, F-16, A-10 all view the F-35 as more maneuverable
why are these SO loud?
I've heard many planes but recently I went to an airshow and they were the loudest of all the aircraft that flew over.
>>33847318
>f35 sucks and it was a scam set up by the jew military industrial complex
>holy shit da jews have the f35, what ever will we do
pick one
>>33852715
I never said it sucks
But the Jews will always have top tier weapons, thanks to their good goys
Holy shit a F35 at airshows? Id MUCH rather they go back to F4 Phantom II than switch out of the F/A-18 to the fucking F35.
I mean, yeah, amazing multirole fighter, but gimme a lead sled doing 2.3 Mach, turns perpendicular to the crowd and Light up them burners.... Fuck I have the most amazing boner right now
>>33852705
55,000 thousand pounds of sexy American freedom thrust from a single engine. I take off my earpro when the F-35 comes by, all the better for my boner.
>>33853497
Public airshows don't allow supersonic passes; there's one or two closed military airshows that do, but only at high altitude.
>>33841516
Who?
>>33839506
the kikes are so spoiled...
>>33852715
literally both lol
>>33839506
Saw one flying down by Pensacola a few weeks ago. Was just skirting down the coast line pretty slow. Luckily I was fishing alone that day otherwise the forced masturbation would have been awkward.
>>33843974
>Bad plane!
>>33856847
Post sexy underbelly or nose pics
