Hey /k/ looking into getting a shotgun for hunting (deer). Rhode Island laws ban rifle hunting because we are so smol and densely populated. We can only hunt with shotgats and black powder. What are your suggestions?
How about a shotgun, or black powder?

I asked for suggestions for shotguns lol. Will take black powder suggestions too but want to be able to practically use gun in large amount of situations.

Mossberg 500 with a slug barrel.

Same here. I've always used my 50cal muzzleloader in recent years. That's the season my group hunts in. Those things are accurate and nasty.

H&R has a really good single shot rifled slug thrower that is affordable. I can get great groups at 100 yards with mine.

Why did you feel the need to take a picture? Do you feel proud about killing animals or something?

>Why did you feel the need to take a picture? Do you feel proud about killing animals or something?
That's kind of the point behind going hunting, anon.
>>33838338
Yes. It's a momento. Problem?
>>33836803
which part of "rifle hunting is banned" didnt you understand?
only idiots spew the bullshit that somehow a black powder gun isnt a firearm. every fucking state in the union counts them as rifles when its for hunting purposes. go head. read the hunting laws for a few states. pick any at random.

>Why did you feel the need to take a picture?
Because the animals are beautiful, unique and memorable.
>Do you feel proud about killing animals or something?
Yes. My lifestyle, views on existence and diet are all congruent because I hunt. I understand my food. I am less of a faggot as a result.
There are ton of slug guns out there.

If you're new to hunting and laws are going to prevent you from getting the rifle bug, I'd spend some $ on a nice shotgun. Older Wingmasters are beautiful.
