Due to a combination of gifts and inheritance, I went from absolutely no firearms of any type to this little collection in about a month and a half.
It isn't fancy by any stretch of the imagination, but it's a start.

And just got 500rds 308 for ~35c/r after shipping, and 200rds of 54r for the psl so I'm not stuck using corrosive for roughly the same price per round.

And the first thing I like to do with new ammo is see how it's built. Both are definitely magnetic.
Tested the 308 last night and seems accurate as I am.

pretty nice selection, IDK what it is, but something just looks off with that 74 brake. Maybe it's just that the cleaning rod is throwing me off.
I'd tell you to get that cleaning rod back on, but I'm sure that flashlight setup is why it's off.

Another nice spread, you really need to fill that stupid etching on the mauser barrel with a black sharpie or something. It does wonders to hide it. I just used a fine tip and you can barely see it now.

I like your rifles, but I'm curious as to why you have so many of those pump 22 rifles. A friend of mine has a type53 shorty mosin and I really want to get one. It's such a damn beater, but clanks my steel at 400 yards just as well as anything. Then when we need to take a break, he just folds out the bayonet and sticks the gun in the ground.

if they were going to put it there, they could have at least put it on the other side of the barrel instead of the display side of the gun

I didn't grind it off, I got it like that. I wish it was still on so I could attach a bayonet. Was planning on an M1A in the future, not sure now with Springfield sticking its foot in its mouth.
