What's the pros and cons of hot launch and cold launch?

10,000 tonne destroyer? Cover it in missiles.
4,000 tonne frigate? Cover it in missiles.
500 tonne patrol boat? Meet networked AA missiles.

It's a personal fetish of mine. If CAAM is even close to as capable as it's meant to be, you've got a manoeuvrable, decent ranged and networked AA missile that can also target surface vessels and be slapped on to any ship with the space for it with relatively little modification.

It is launched from the upper deck that houses the UKSK VLS silos. Anti air missiles use the Redut VLS silos used in the lower deck. And the silhouette perfectly matches a 91R1.
