I have two, the security model and a 18" custom made model. They both have been through hell, still shoot and cycle anything put through them. No issues with any parts. Great shotgun for the money.

I paid about 150 for mine, with the 20" barrel and the 8 round tube.

Works like a charm after I sent it back to Eagle Pass for light primer strike issues.

It's a workhorse OP and it will outlive you.

I got the security model and it shoots fine. It's probably the best shotgun you can get for that cheap.

I've heard that with the security model you cant replace any barrel with much of anything because of the length of the bottom tube wont match up, but I can't back that up whatsoever.

Hell yes you did it's one of my favored truck shotguns to just leave and forget about. Cheap as fuck but rugged and works. You won't feel bad about treating it like fried assholes either.

Replace that forend with an action slide tube assembly + non-pinned forend and you're set.

Yeah it totally is. Some will call you a retard for not saving 70 more dollarydoos and getting a 500 but the only differences i found are a few jaggies in the reciever that easily file out, plastic furniture, a non tapped reciever, and a crossbolt safety.
