Do you think there will be a collector's market for Islamic State(ISIS) flags in the future, much like Nazi memorabilia? Considering that they are hand painted, I think that if they have verifiable providence & pedigree, they would be considered highly desirable military folk art.
Have any US soldier's captured an IS/ISIS flag after a battle?

It's not someone anyone wants to remember, and it has nothing to do with ideologies that anyone but extremely shut in muslims unaware of what the world outside the middle east is. nobody is serving a fanatic dictator and his generals unwillingly, theyre all fanatics. there is no way to "Spin" radical islamic terrorism into a good thing or something anyone needs to remember, and glorifying it after it's collapse is giving it power.
let the kurds decide what value they have after but im assuming theyre all getting burned publicly along with some executions

I'd argue that it would be acceptable to keep a few in public museums as sort of a "Wow look at these giant dickheads" exhibit. Sort of like how the holocaust museum has a lot of anti-jewish propaganda. If done right it could teach a valuable lesson.
That said having one at home is like having a swastika in your living room. Not something you can quickly explain away to guests without being vilified.

>Le Kurds are good guys maymay
No they're not and you're buying into their tribal propaganda. It just so happens that they're aligned with Western interests AT THIS PRESENT TIME. Hasn't Afghanistan taught you anything about alliances of convenience?

Meh, I don't care if they are Marxists. As long as they keep that shit to themselves then I don't care what they do.

the reason Nazi flags are popular is because they were right. Isis is wrong

It represents something that is steadily vanishing from the world today: the idea of the outlaw, the man who has absolute freedom because he doesn't have to respect any rights but at the same time is hunted because he likewise lacks them and can be shot by anyone looking for target practice. ISIS will die eventually when they pick a fight with a power that isn't afraid to turn their cities into rubble, but until then they're an example of a society founded on anarchy, and they might be among the last.
