Done it a few times going to the state fair.
First time was vodka and lemonaide, which was a horrible idea b/c we were ruthlessly drunk within an hour.
Next couple of times we made sangria. It works best. Don't get fucking drunk, keeps well in the pack and doesn't taste like shit when on the warm side, unlike beer.

I filled one of these up before a college football game at Oregon State. The carbonation kept spitting beer out of the nozzle which was conveniently placed by my upper thigh. Anybody whos lived in Oregon in the fall knows it was raining, so the leakage was hidden decently. I was in the student section so I was among a crowd of other drunk students. Great game.
It would work better with hard alcohol and non carbonated juice.
