I can't tell if this is an awful idea or a great idea
Looks like a gun battery from starboard part of the battleship
>>33821868
looks very road-bound and kinda slow. What country is this from?
>>33821868
Enjoy trying to maneuver that fucker through rough terrain.
>>33821868
anti missile, anti aircraft, anti democrats.. what is its purpose?
imagine going full broadside
>>33821927
Mine laying. Anything else would be pointless in it's design.

UAE

Replacement for Grads.

I dont care if its stupid, I love it
>>33821951
The time spent firing feels dangerously long.
Probably not a good idea against any competent enemy with a competent air force but since that's not what you will find in the middle east I could see it being used without major problems.
Imagine you can positionate one of those into fire range near a city like London. How bad would be the damage?
>>33821868
>Have three missile platforms towed by a truck with one engine.
>Needing 3 separate flatbeds with three separate engines for three separate missile platforms.
There is no loss in reducing logistical requirement.
>>33821941
>Mine laying
>>33821972
Counter-battery fire would fuck it up. A minute and a half??
>>33821951
Jesus it just never stops firing.
>>33821951
They better figure out to speed up that rate of fire or they're going to get fucked up when the enemy starts shooting back.
>>33821868
It serves it's purpose fine. UAE only is pretty small and it's just there to lay down suppression to any militia groups from the main roads/infrastructure to the desert wastelands.
>>33821868
>Looks cool
>Pretty awesome
>Shitloads of firepower in one package
>4 batteries means 4 times longer reloading procedure
>Logistical nightmare
>Unable to operate anywhere except on even terrain without getting stuck because heavy as fuck.
>Huge target and hard to conceal
Even more or less useless even in the middle east where it's designed to.
Some sheikh probably saw his 10-year old sons drawings and thought this was an excellent idea.
>>33822421
>Not having three separate systems for increased mobility, defensive positioning, enemy targeting overload and general force multiplication.
>>33822628
Yep. The enemy doesn't have to do risk grading on three separate systems, possibly waste time and munitions on the wrong one, etc, they just smash the one big truck.
Silly.
>>33822601
Exactly this. I'm sure I used to draw stuff like that when I was a kid drawing my perfect army vehicles and kit in history class.
it's about time land battleships start making a comeback.
>>33821868
It's a great idea as long as you have a whole desert to turn that thing around in.
>>33822601
>>4 batteries means 4 times longer reloading procedure
What? What would be the problem loading the batteries at the same time instead of one by one?
>>33821868
>meant to replace 6 Grad vehicles with a single vehicle
I mean, it's impressive
>>33821868
How about these?
