I have the SAR. It's a nice rifle. It's not great, but it's certainly functional with a wide range of commercial ammunition. It doesn't have any glaring flaws, it just works. I enjoy shooting the AUG more, though.

I never said the SAR was a bad rifle nor did I ever claim it malfunctions a lot (my shitty $600 ar never malfunctioned when I had it, a gun doing what it's supposed to do when well maintained is hardly extraordinary), I just said that it is ok. To answer your question yes I have and i didn't find it to be better than shooting an ar, certainly not enough to justify the price. If you like the SAR then good for you, but its not some amazing gun that blows all competition out of the water.

Is there only one barrel length option so far? 16" is a bit short for .308, imo. A 20" barrel and I'd be all over this.
