What was your first firearm? Here's my G19

First shotgun and firearm was a winchester 1300 I bought from a gun show for 185 dollars

First rifle was an Anderson ar15 from a gun show once again

I have a yugo ak but I'm going to trade it for a glock 17 gen 4 with extra shit, as my first handgun.

My first gun was a Mosin Nagant I paid a $100 for. I was 18 and my dad had given me the money to buy shoes. When I called him to tell him, at first he was mad that I didn't buy shoes, then he sighed and asked what caliber it was. He wasn't too mad.

First handgun was a S&W 642 when I was 21. My dad bought it off me a month ago so I could free up the cash to buy a Glock 43 for carry.

I fell for the .22 as first gun meme and bought a 10/22 when I turned 18.

Why not a ar15 since it barely has any recoil and will be more fun for them.

because .22 used to be stupid cheap and they're just fun to shoot even if they offer little/no practical value (outside of small game hunting/pest control)

Solid it when I moved and bought a Surplus Hi Power. Then a Glock 19. I kind of consider the Glock 19 my first gun because it's the one I shoot the most and train with the most.

Maverick 88 6 shot 12 gauge security. Gave it to my best friend when he moved.

First pistol was pic related. I bought it for $190 from J&G and I'm not disappointed, shit shoots and it's built like a FUCKING TANK.

CSA Vz58 Tactical. Pic is the exact model. I've just realised I have a spare Diemaco CAR stock kicking around and I think I might put it on to see how it looks. If it doesn't look that great I'll probably throw a fagpul CTR on it.

First one I bought myself was a P99 because Tomorrow Never Dies.

I went into the store all rosey cheeked and dreamy eyed knowing fuck all and walked out with an overpriced 10 round OD green P99 in .40, not at all what was in the movie.

It's still one of my favorites tho.

My first gun was a 597 but I got it in a strange way. I got drunk in high school with a guy I played football with in the woods behind my house, and when we walked back to my house he thought it was okay to piss on my mom's outdooor furniture couch on the porch.
He felt bad about it so the next day he showed up with a 597 in a cheap case and gave it to me as some sort of peacemaker.
I haven't shot it in 6 years but I love the thing because said friend now lives in a cabin in Alabama somewhere and I haven't seen him since I graduated in 2012.
First gun I bought from a dealer was a 28" barrel Benelli Nova in Max-4 from Cabela's, I enjoy taking it to shoot with my noguns friends because I mix in 3.5inch 00 buck with low brass 8 shot.

Bought a Bersa 380 at the Texas Saxet Gun Show in Austin, which was shit. Returned it and bought a Walther P22, which was nicer but it was a .22. Sold that and bought a S&W Sigma, which was my first real gun that I carried regularly.

Glock 19 is my first gun also. I've put 500 rounds through it so far. The gun is shit.

m1 carbine was my first, i wish i had one now but to expect me to dish 1200 for a reliable one is fucking stupid given what it does and the ammo it shoots is equally expensive for what it is

if they made a modern one in .357 that was improved, i would trade my ar-15 for it im not gonna lie

Taurus PT809c 9mm. I needed a base to begin with judging other firearms. This was cost effective. Gave me extended mag of 17 rds or 13rds compact. From there I was able to pick my firearms of choice. I like compact over full size. Never has FTF or FTE. Love it so much I used it to qualify for 2 conceal carry and it passed 100%.

My first gun I bought was a .22 the day I turned 18. You could get a box of 50 bullets for like a buck, and this was in 2006.

I still have it, don't think I'd ever sell it, though I'm not really one for selling any guns I buy.

Went into the shop to check out what was available and see what fit me, and held it.
Fit in my hand perfectly, bought it on the spot.

I've since bought more standard calibers but 10mm will always be the first.
