Show us your latest purchase, Anon.

Just got back from the local gun show. Been wanting one of these for some time, finally found one for $500. Also picked up 6,300 rounds of Remington golden bullet for $470. How'd I do /k/?
>>
Is that the new mk4 with the easy takedown? I really want the bronze one which I will pick up at some point.

So, so. Dunno where you live, I can get that many rounds of golden for like 260ish after tax, not hard at all to find 22 in my area, none of this X amount of boxes per customer shit too, always in stocked.

It's a nice gun you'll really like it. And rgb will run fine in it. But $40 a box is high for me.
Btw Your fastfire is mounted rather far forward. I've shot steel challenge RFPO for years and usually people mount the optic further toward the rear of the pistol.

This. I buy a coupl boxes of federal exert payday. I shoot one box on weekends and put the other box in the safe. 1 in 25 will f--- up. Pretty good for budget ammo.

$18 for 325 at Dick's
>>
Seeing how this is mark iv lite central apparently,
can someone give me a red dot recommendation? I assume most people prefer lowest moa possible so it doesn't cover as much of the target, but is it better to have a higher moa for use on a pistol so you can see the dot a little better?
>>
I have a shitty 5moa truglo that I use on various guns. 25 yards I get 2" spreads. Thing was like $40 on Black Friday. Not precision, but fun. Wife swears by it.
>>
>>33815112
3moa, people like bigger like 8 on a defensive pistol, but for a 22lr pistol 3 is good. Also on a 22lr pistol even the cheaper, bigger ones like truglo and sightmark are fine and you get a larger field of view.
But fastfire 3 and vortex venom are good and can be used on a variety of guns.
>>
Anyone use a Vortex Razor red dot? I might splurge and get that over the venom. Easy to spend on Vortex when it's guaranteed for life.

Just picked this C93 up today, for $599. Put 40 rounds through it with no issues, supposedly they generally have most issues in the first few hundred rounds. Not sure if I like it or if I'll keep it because it doesn't really trigger my autism in any particular ways. Maybe I'll put a bunch of wood furniture on it, or maybe a collapsible stock. Not sure.

Controls are worse /less intuitive than the AR 15, worse balance, heavier, almost as long as a 20" AR despite having a 16" barrel.

Suggestions?
>>
>>33816959
Check the bolt gap?
>>
>>33817101
Don't have the tools, thanks for the suggestion though. If I run into issues I'll get them and do so. Everything seems really tight, there's no play in any of the components as far as I can tell. Everything on the gun is significantly stiffer than the AR, charging handle, magazine release, selector lever, and trigger.

Maybe I just don't know how to have fun
>>
>>33817302
>Dont have the tools
Feeler gauges is all you need, I mean unless you want to fucking die.

I have one with around 2k rounds through it with no issues, the tightness will be gone soon enough.

No no no no no and.....no. Anon the answer is always spend MORE money on the firearm so you will only hate it just a little less.

>>
>>33818557
I literally don't like it and only bought it as a suppressor host, but I'm broke currently and the mk4 is out so I would have replaced it with a mk4 regardless, the controls are nicer.
My question really is just about the legality of out of state pistol sales to FFL dealers.
>>
>>33819141
Ok fair enough. Yes you can sell to FEDERAL firearms licensed dealers as long as the firearm is legal to transfer to that state.

Got 2 cans of Russian Surplus 7n6, finally after putting it off for so long. I got it for the bare minimum average price of 21 cents/round (excluding shipping), so can't complain too much for $450.

Ideally (as in my head fantasy) I'd like to reserve it for SHTF scenario while using Silver Bear et al. for practice. Don't want to open up those cans just yet.

So that now, when things are worst, you all of a sudden want to have a gun that rusts if you don't keep on top of it and have oils etc around?
I miss buying those crates for 240+ shipping, and am glad I stocked up when I did. I'm hoping there's a time when I can sell it as collector ammo for $1 a piece after some years pass. I never touch the stuff because I'd rather not have to clean, and my silver bear etc seems to shoot identically out to 400 yards.
>>
Just bought a repo M1 Carbine for 300. The only problem I have found that I have to remove the bayonet lug, thanks to the NY Safe act. Can I have the gun shop I am buying it from take it off before shipment? Will they charge me more for it?

And this is how it turned out after some polishing, new Wolff springs that I already had on hand, and I blew $20 on some pachmayr renegade rosewood stocks. Very happy with it for $300 all in.
>>
>>33823836

There is nothing about this gun I don't like.

Old Smith is best Smith

Looks like a quality hammer bob. I bet this was someone's competition revolver.

Anyway, worth every penny, seriously badass.

Be careful about polishing the ejector rod. I bought a highly polished 67 (stainless version of the 15), and it starts to unscrew to easily now.
>>
>>33824309
It's actually a factory Smith dao. I think it was a police or security gun in a past life. But it's seriously smooth and the new springs should have brought it back for a second life.

I didn't polish much; all done by hand with mother's mag and a t shirt.
>>
I bought a Stevens 320. What are your opinions on it?

Ive ran absolute trash 22lr through my mark iv, like remington thinderbolt, and it seemed to jam about every 100 rounds if memory services correctly. I was very impressed. It is worth the reduce price desu famalam for the cheap 22 in a mark iv

How much was it? I paid 500 for the blued a month after it released in a store that always rips me off
>>
>>33829206
I've got one on order, but I'll also have 5 mags when I get the gun since I ordered three extra a while back. I initially ordered this a month and a half ago but the store I ordered from was moving and then had to ship the gun back to ruger for some reason so after 5 weeks I just told them to cancel and ordered another one for $10 less.

>>33829220
$490. You got JUST'd, senpai. The going rate online for the blued ones is well below $400. Never buy guns locally until you research prices online first. The one and only time I bought a gun locally (a glock) I got fucked up the ass price wise.
>>
>>33829262
>>33829220
Although if you bought it a month after it came out that was probably more of the going rate. Dunno how I missed that the first time I read your post.
