>you're negating your claim that noone is allowed to come onto your property
I said nobody has the right to come on your property. The corollary of that is that coming onto your property is a privilege. That privilege is accorded by the proprietor. Just as you get to decide who comes into your house, he can decide who comes into his business.

>ethnically homogenous line of crap
That was not a call to string up darkies or gas the kikes to achieve a pure aryan society, stop interpreting everything through your retarded SJW lens. It is plain fact that the fewer differences there are between people, the fewer sources of disagreement can exist in that group. When you have the free movement of people (unlike now, thanks to arbitrary national borders and a lack of property rights), you will see the homogenization of societies, and an increase in internal stability as a result. It may be by race, or language, or religion, or political ideology, or most likely a combination of those factors. But it will happen.

>strict control of politics
On private property? Certainly. Even in a statist society, I cannot come into your house and start spewing extremist propaganda at you. This would be no different in a libertarian society.

>Bernier actually supports your AnCap bullshit
To some extent he does. Nobody posts Rothbard without being favorable to those views.

>I just want to talk about guns, I don't care about politics
People like you are the reason we can't have FALs and need to register our handguns. Every time the Democrats try that shit in the US, gun owners are up in arms, so to speak, to stop it. Where was the pushback here in '95? '91? '77? '69? If gun owners refuse to get involved in politics, they will soon find themselves owning nothing.

>>33814546
I'm not one for gun safety to the point of autism (ie. don't ever touch the trigger even though you cleared the fucking gun 2 seconds ago), but it is poor form to sweep someone else unless they have personally checked the gun too, and have given their consent for you to sweep them. You can only know a gun's unloaded status if you maintain possession of it, or at least have it in your sight at all times. Maybe chimping out is a bit excessive, but you shouldn't be sweeping people in the first place.

Some how the scratch mark on his gun magically disappears where the full auto mark would be, then keeps going. Ill give him the benifit of doubt and say he just pulls up on the selector every time in that exact spot so he doesnt scratch it. I've done something foolish and need some advice.

I had a single bullet in my jacket pocket from a range trip I had back when it was colder. I found the bullet in my trunk a couple days after the trip and put it in my jacket pocket to put it back in ammo storage but forgot. Warmer weather came so I didn't use the jacket for a period of time. I just recently got back from a trip out of province and part of that trip was to cross the border. I found the bullet in my jacket pocket and to not get shafted at the border I hid it in the apartment I was staying at. Long story short, I just got back from my trip and forgot that I had hid the bullet in the apartment and forgot to take it with me.

Do I contact the apartment owner and tell him about it? Will I get the RCMP's long shaft of the law if I don't do anything and let the owner find it?

Or you accept the establishment rules and realize you're a guest to this site, like all the others and therefore must follow the rules, regardless of what you think of them.

>Ammunition Regulation Act, 1994, S.O. 1994, c. 20
>Restriction re sale of ammunition
3. (1) No person shall knowingly sell or provide ammunition to any person unless that person produces documentation as required under subsection 2 (1), (2) or (3). 2009, c. 33, Sched. 9, s. 1 (3).

You should be fine legally, since you didn't provide it knowingly. However, you should call the homeowner and let him know as a courtesy. I'd be a huge headache for him if a kid found it and brought it to school or something.

I don't use it anymore (PPQ fills its role now), but if stock shit fits then I might as well replace the grips.

you can shoot your AR at any registered and approved range, even indoor 25m ranges allow ARs, as long as you don't use steel core or steer jacketed ammo (which, aside from green tipped and shit-tier Barnaul aside, most basic .223/5.56 is not anyway)

even Toronto cucks have access to places they can shoot restricted rifles at, sure it's not conveniently close because of the GTA range ban, but even they make do.

I bought an 8.5" Grizzly and I managed to find a second hand CSA Vz 58 with a Zhukov handguard and AR mag adapter already installed for $1000 as my first guns. Did I do good, or is that not enough milsurp and fudd shit Canada general? That seems to be all anyone has here.

ah sucks man, yeah it's basically Toronto-tier situation; with the exception that you can probably find crown land closer to at least shoot your NR, where T-cucks have to drive for two hours to the closest outdoors range (no crown land anywhere there from what I understand)

try to find a 180b? or maybe wait for NEA 25/NEA 102 not sure what they're calling it now, basically an NR .308 direct impingement AR-10 based on a pre-restricted model or some such stuff. They're already exporting them outside of Canada and firmly stating a price of $1500, which is definitely not bad for a full power cartridge NR tacticool was

here's a video:

I guess they don't realize they are more danger to you, just being able to crank call on you and get you raided and possibly killed by jumpy authorities thinking they're responding to an armed maniac; or at the least they can run their mouth and have a friend of a friend tell another friend, who turns out to be a criminal thug that will home-invade/burglarize your home in an attempt to "git sum gatz"

The NEA definitely looks like the best choice for me, I'll have to keep my eye on it
>>
>>33825557
Pretty much this. IWB holsters are everywhere. Pick your favorite, and have at it.

I know handguns are not the best bear defense tools, but I can't be bothered to lug an SVT up mountains with all my other gear. I think hiding behind the nearest tree and dumping two mags into the bear's face is enough to get it to fuck off and find easier prey. If that's not enough, well, some people have fought off bears with axes and knives. There's always going to be some risk when you go innawoods.
>>
So I got my CPC ballot.

I already know who my first choice is going to be, but who should be #2-10?
>>
>>33827452
How do we know that if you don't tell us who your first choice is?

Personally I'm going O'Toole, Bernier, Scheer for 1, 2, 3. Still not settled on rankings below that.

Obhrai and Chong are at the bottom though.

>>33827584
Looking at this thread and past threads, I think it's safe to assume Mad Max is my #1 choice.

Even if he wasn't, he would be at least somewhere in the top 10. That rules out 9 other spots.
>>
>>33827609
Yes, they do. Its like every tired joke that people think is clever and original.

Like "no price tag means its free right!?" directed at retail workers.

Just laugh it off and ask if they like to go to a range some time and try it out.
>>
>>33827697
Bernier wants to dial back many of the restrictions, but O'Toole wants a full on repeal of the Firearms Act.

I'm not just looking at guns either. O'Toole's policy proposals on other issues are more detailed and more realistic.

I also worried this supply management thing could blow up in Bernier's face if the Liberals manage to use it to paint him as some sort of Trump puppet. That's not to say I disagree, its just not that big an issue to me, outside of its potential to kill the CPC in the elections.

I shouldn't have to be the one e-mailing them, or calling them, or even going down to the fucking place to demand answers).

Honestly, the whole thing screams poor planning/management. It shouldn't take three fucking years to open a range. Sure, they explain the reason for each delay, but is it seriously not possible to get all that shit straightened out from the beginning? I literally remember being told "lel our backstop isn't thick enough" back in 2016. How the fuck does it take two years to figure that out?

>but is it seriously not possible to get all that shit straightened out from the beginning?
they had to have the build rechecked like a dozen times because the city was trying to find every opportunity to shut it down

they spent years just getting the business license/permits

Actually, I've been to the Abbotsford Fish & Game Club. They are amazingly chill, and I have nothing bad to say about them yet.

Their range rules aren't nearly as autistic as other ranges' (I'm not even knocking The Range Langley here; for some reason most other ranges in BC have ridiculous rules).
Their membership is also very cheap.
>>
>>33829450
>getting into guns means needing to get a job
you can buy a gun with credit card debt, student loans, welfare/disability benefits, etc. you're unfortunately wrong. anyways, they're not the type of people you want armed anyways.
>>
>>33829573
the only ranges i've been to are DVC, poco, and the range langley

the only ridiculous rule at dvc is how long the goddamn target change period is, waiting half an to change targets is pretty shite a lot of the time
>>
>>33829581

My hope was that their SKS would spark a desire for something outside the price range of a welfare recipient. I could very well be wrong but I like to believe firearms are a gateway drug to becoming a better person in general.
>>
>>33829623
Back when I was still shopping around for ranges, I've seen some pretty ridiculous rules.

Some examples I've seen:
>outside ammo not allowed; ammo must be purchased in-house
>no FMJs
>no hollowpoints
>no pistol cartridges in rifle ranges (not even if it's a rifle that shoots pistol cartridges)
>no steel-case
>no rimfire
>no shotguns
>birdshot only; no buckshot or slugs
To The Range Langley's credit, they don't have stupid rules like the above. The only time you have to use in-house ammo is if you're shooting their rental firearms.
>>
>>33829764
>No rimfire
but .22lr is like the lifeblood of fudds
>>
>>33829764

so many of those rules contradict one another too kek
>>
>>33829817
They're not all from the same range, they are samples from several different ranges.
>>
>>33829764
My range is pretty good

>No steel core
>nothing bigger than .44 mag in the indoor range
>if youre patterning a shotgun, string the target between 2 posts so as not to tear up the boards

and thats pretty much it
>>
>>33829863
>No steel core

Nah, it's shit.
>>
>>33829828
yeah i under stand that, but the reasoning you'd think would apply universally, like i can't think of any reason why you'd ban hollow points, or why bird shot would be better than buckshot/slugs (birdshot has a much higher chance of ricocheting)

why no rimfire?

no steel case is usually because lots of steel case is steel core, but they should probably phrase it that way

also no idea why they wouldn't allow fmj or rimefire
>>
>>33829891

We have so much crown land to shoot on around here that its really not a problem, this place is pretty much a Canadian shooters paradise.

How much weight would you recommend in to put into a pack? Also im not a good napper but have been told that ill learn instantly due to sleep schedule, i used to do 5am-11pm days for work before so i know i can handle the little sleep they give you to some sense.

You are not prepared. I know because I was that guy. You just have to harden the fuck up and puke your guts out on every run until you get used to it. I love lifting and fucking hate cardio, but it's vitally important and you should focus on it right now Re:ruckmarching, if you aren't used to it you should start light: No more than 25-30lbs for 5k. Can't speak to reg force, but reserve BMQ was pathetically easy. I desperately hope the standards are higher for reg force training, because it was fucking shameful. We did ~2.5k runs each morning, and a few pushups and situps as PT. Got better with SQ and BIQ (or whatever they call it these days), but still.
>>
>>33834460

>>
>>33834826
I have two friends in the reserves they both left and said they hated it, im told its completely different, they also laughed at the bmq as well and was told they always played ultimate frisbee for PT.
>>
>>33834844
>i usually stop my jogs before i have to puke but always keep telling myself i should just go till i puke, def start doing that instead
Don't unless you want to train yourself mentally or something. Improving your runs efficiently does not require copious amounts of vomit. If you really want to test your limit once or twice, sure, but you don't need to be puking on every fucking run. You think Usain Bolt does when he trains?

Just do interval training combined with regular disance running. There's billions of regimens for improving 5k times, just google it.

Similarly, don't run with a pack. It doesn't make you tougher, it just fucks up the efficiency of your training and increases the risk of injury. And getting injured is a big deal, because you not only lose valuable traning time while you recover, but you fitness level also degenerates since you'll be inactive.

if you're on crown land that allows firwarm discharge, how close/far from private prpoetry is it reasonable to be before you can safely plink with 7.62x39/51 without bothering anyone?

if I have a friend whose family owns a 50-acre farm outside of a major city (surrounding area are farms, about an hour drive from actual city), and I have their permission to fire my NR on their land, am I fine to plink there, with backstop, far from any roads and the rest of safety in mind, or are there some other issues to consider?

Hey nogunfag here but interested in getting PAL and RAPL.

I had to spend a night at a mental health observation ward in December 2013 for the usual reasons but I went there on my own and voluntarily and I was released the next day when the doctor found no reason to believe I was a threat to myself and others.

Every health professional I met afterwards said the same thing.

I have mild Assburgers too.

Does this disqualify me permanently or temporarily from having guns? Do I need to mention it if I want to apply for my licenses?

Also about restricted weapons, is it worth it to put money into a good AR or will it most likely get jewed away by the RCMP with lol no refunds?
>>
>>33849579
>>33849579
1. Just lie. The rcmp has no access to health records without a court order iirc.
2. Build an AR from an 80% if you're concerned about the boleez.
>>
>>33849579
don't mention it on your application, and they probably won't find out

if they do find out it will probably just slow things down a bit

>Also about restricted weapons, is it worth it to put money into a good AR or will it most likely get jewed away by the RCMP with lol no refunds?
depends if you have a good range you like going to, you can't legally shoot AR innawoods, which is a real drag
>>
>>33849617

I'd rather not do anything illegal just to make sure it doesn't fuck me over somehow in the future.

Also what is an 80% exactly?
>>
>>33849636
you have plausible deniability when not mentioning the medical thing

you could easily argue you didn't think that applied to the question, or that you forgot about it, etc
>>
>>33849579
Don't mention it. Health records are confidential.

You legally don't have property rights in Canada. If you want to stay off the register then build an AR and hide it. It is a felony but that's the risk you'll have to take to avoid Big Brother RCMP.
>>
>>33849636
And ar15 built from an 80% machined lower reciever. The lower is the registered part, so you just have to finish milling the lower and then build the rest of the rifle. Easy and almost legal.
>>
>>33849698

Ignoring the fact that he was a degenerate, the most noteworthy part was that he was in custody for 525 days and the ruling still hasn't happened. That's outrageous. If in the end he was acquitted for whatever reason, that's a year and a half wasted in a cell when he would be found to have officially done nothing wrong.

Now, in this case he is a scumbag. But suppose you have to shoot some injuns who break into your house, and the liberal judge decides to disallow bail because of your heinous act of racism and bigotry. You not only have to pay for your own defense against a rabidly antigun and infinitely-funded Crown prosecutor who will throw every charge he can at you and then offer to plea it down, even if he knows he has no real case. But you also get to spend over a year in prison waiting for the case to go to trial, all the while enjoying the associated opportunity costs. And to top it off, you don't get compensation from the Crown for both your legal costs, nor your lost income due to incarceration. They simply tell you to fuck off and file a civil suit against the broke-ass natives who have to resort to stealing electronics as their source of income.

Our justice system is a shambles.

>Dlask literally tell you on their website that they collect your IP info when you browse their site. They also tell you if required by law, they will give up all of your info (including your phone number, lel mandatory phone number even when ordering non-regulated shit)
>CTCS (and definitely Dlask too) does billing address verification and will hold your items for "fraud investigation" if something is missing or off -- forget you masterful prepaid visa plan or other anon-paying schemes that I've heard here before, they'll cancel your order or worse
All that even before you run into the basic fact that you need somewhere to deliver this shit to, and that both: dealers are unlikely to ship 80% lowers that they know are a grey area to a PO box, and that you still have to use your name, address and valid IDs to get a PO box in the first place

sure, they'll make money off you now, go ahead and buy them with your bank's visa and home address verified, they'll take your money at 3x the cost of these "paperweights" as long as it's clear you will be left receiving the big red cock when this loophole is finally focused on. try your shady buying ways and they'll just deny to process your order to make sure they're not gonna be the ones getting the dicking when the gravy train runs out of rails.

they can justify look at the dealers' tax records from revenue Canada and go from there, could be that simple. and if they need a court order, plenty of judges will be happy to write one based on the charge that hundreds of potential evil death machines could be out there in the hands of criminals, so they must be found.

>TL;DR: 80% lowers are a door-knocking list waiting for the door knockers to get around to it. There is no way to buy it anonymously. Don't do it!

the case for bans and confiscation will be made based on the same principle that "easily convertible" definition got its footing on. And in this case, it won't even be much of a desputable issue.

If you have a gun license, you're already on the door-knocking list no matter what. The important part about 80% lowers is that they need not be registered until completed. This means you have plausible deniability concerning your ownership of an illicit AR receiver; if they can't find it, you don't own it.

The point of this is not to have an AR that you can take to the range and keep in your cabinet with all your legal guns, but to have a secret unregistered AR that they don't know about should mass confiscation become a thing.

>>
>>33852198
hey, that's fair enough, but what I'm pointing out is that there will be a record of you buying an 80% lower and that's the oppisite of "having an AR they don't know about"; more like them knowing you have an AR that you think they don't know about. this will have them come looking a lot faster and with a lot more enthusiasm (due to the promise of finding an actual illegal item and scoring a charge) than the easy pickings of simply collecting your registered AR.
