The Permanent Fund Dividend [PFD] is a dividend paid to Alaska residents that have lived within the state for a full calendar year (January 1 – December 31), and intend to remain an Alaska resident indefinitely.[15] This means if residency is taken on January 2, the "calendar year" wouldn't start until next January 1.

However, an individual is not eligible for a PFD for a dividend year when:

(1) during the qualifying year, the individual was sentenced as a result of conviction in this state of a felony;
(2) during all or part of the qualifying year, the individual was incarcerated as a result of the conviction in this state of a

(A) felony; or
(B) misdemeanor if the individual has been convicted of

(i) a prior felony as defined in AS 11.81.900 ; or
(ii) two or more prior misdemeanors as defined in AS 11.81.900

The amount of each payment is based upon a five-year average of the Permanent Fund's performance and varies widely depending on the stock market and many other factors. The PFD is calculated by the following steps:[16]

Add Fund Statutory Net Income from the current plus the previous four fiscal years.
Multiply by 21%
Divide by 2
Subtract prior year obligations, expenses and PFD program operations
Divide by the number of eligible applicants

The lowest individual dividend payout was $331.29 in 1984 and the highest was $2,072 in 2015.[17] However, in 2008 Governor Sarah Palin signed Senate Bill 4002[18] that used revenues generated from the state’s natural resources and provided a one-time special payment of $1,200 to every Alaskan eligible for the PFD.[19]

Although the principal or corpus of the Fund is constitutionally protected, income earned by the Fund, like nearly all State income, is constitutionally defined as general fund money.[citation needed]

Canadian Border Security only looks at that shit if you're driving it through or if the shipping address is within Canada.

You could hire a boat already headed to Alaska to take you there. Find someone online, drive to the west coast, get onnaboat, sail up to Alaska with crates of guns, get drunk with crew, and leave a few guns as payment. They would probably rape you, throw you overboard, and steal your guns though.

i wanna live in alaska in a cabin like dick prennokke so bad. how feasible is that to do nowawadays and how do these people make money to pay the pilots to fly them supplies out?
>>
>>33813875

Eh, the gun shop near me will do bulk FFL transfers for like 100$ for up to 10 guns. (normal rate is 35$).

talk to a couple local gun stores, and im sure you can work something out. Surprisingly, not everyone that runs a gun shop is an enormous jewish dick.
>>
>>33818079
Live in a less cold place and just grow/hunt your food, also somewhere within a day's drive to a town so you can buy supplies every couple months. I'm pretty much doing this now, but I still have to work one week out of the month to pay for fucking expensive satellite Internet and calfs every year.
>>
>>33818414
yeah satellite internet fucking sucks too, we only got cable in my area about a year ago. which state do you live in and where do you work that lets you only do one week per month?

What? Do canadians effectively ban .25 and .32 ACP by name, or are things like .22LR pistols, 5.7mm, and .223 caliber pistols illegal too?
>>
>>33819922
It's Canada. They even celebrate Thanksgiving in October.

>>33819952
huh i didnt think they could have pistols at all
>>
>>33813776
Cheapest way is to get a Canadian restricted possession and acquisitions license. It will take a few months though and some of your guns might be prohibited.
>>
>>33813776
You can mail guns to yourself trough USPS without an FFL transfer. Yes shipping lots of ships expensive
>>
>>33815195
hey thats nice of you to research
>>
Take a ferry. You get your carload of guns there without having to drive the AL-CAN highway which is dangerous and pure shit in places.
Pretty though. I guess that's why so many people drive off the road and die.

$2000 for a car cruise of the Inside Passage with all your funs would be totally worth it. You could hunt orca from the deck.
>>
>>33813776
http://deviating.net/firearms/packing/

Get a couple hard suitcases and locks, put your guns, magazines, and factory boxed ammo inside. If you have 60 guns, it could take a while. Estimating 10 pounds per rifle and 2 pounds per handgun, you've got about 450 pounds of guns to transport. That's about 10 check bags so you're probably best off leaving the guns with immediate family and taking them with you when you fly.

The other thing you could do is separate components. Go with a carrier that allows unlimited guns and take receivers or frames. Ship to yourself the non-gun components.
>>
>>33818612
Is Norinco ammo even worth it?
