what's the best deal, and absolute cheapest complete upper receiver assembly available on the market right now? Pistol uppers are fine too I have a spare pistol buffer as well.

I am also OK with cranking in a barrel, so a cheap setup that requires assembly is fine too.

I just have a complete lower laying around and it needs some love. I already have some nice ARs but I just want to throw something together I don't have to baby, something I can scratch and not feel bad about it.

Just ordered an Aero upper and lower for an eventual SBR build, interim pistol build. I already got the buffer tube and stabilizing fin for the pistol portion of its life.

I would personally go for an 11.5" barrel for better M193 ballistics. Your 2.5" long muzzle device brings your 10.3" barrel to 12.8"
Better taking an 11.5" barrel and putting a shorter muzzle device on there. The blast isn't all that bad. Consider this combo:
