No.

30 rounds of .22 Magnum. not quite the same but close enough for all practical purposes.

Ok sorry i didn't read your whole post before I replied, but look into 7.62 Tokorev, very similar ballistics for less money
>>33807800
TTAG say MPA57 is trash, but it is half the price.
>>33807800
MPA makes a mac thing in 5.7. Also, if you want something in 5.7, the ammo is expensive.

>keltec
eww
FN White Elephant
FN JUST
FN Don't Bother
FN Lost Dream
FN Meme
>>33807800
literally everything related to 5.7 is expensive.
i love the pistol (aside from the fucking cactus grip) but it's going to burn money.
>>33808182
i don't understand people that say this. the ammo isn't that expensive and if it is you're just a poorfag.
>>33808174
are you... triggered?
>>33808174
Don't complain when you ask for the closest alternative to a hot meal for a third of the price and you get served warm dogfood.

I second these guys, similar ballistics and velocities.
Use reliable and good quality ammo doe.

Dammit SpĆ¼rdo, I translated it expecting some kind of pun.

I'm not op. I just instinctively wretch when I see kel-crap
>>33808205
It is absolutely expensive for what the round is actually capable of, which is fucking nothing if you can't get the SS192 ammo.
Would you pay 6 times the cost of a .223 for a round that was similar to .223 but had almost zero benefit over it?
>>33808205
>expensive things aren't actually expensive and everyone is inferior to me because I said I have money on the internet
>>33808205
all the guns that fire it are overpriced. the ammo at least isn't absurdly expensive anymore, but the impracticality of reloading it eats into it-- vs say 44 mag.
>>33807800
If you can get over the looks, MPA57. Others have already recommended it and it's an ugly piece of shit but if you really want 5.7 (overrated caliber, basically just expensive 22Mag or 7.62 Tokarev) then it's the cheapest option.

...it's like a mac-10 fucked a glock
>>33807800
Draco. Gun is cheaper, ammo is cheaper and has more power
>>33807800
Since you're already this stupid, maybe you should focus on your grades instead.
any 22lr handguns
>>33807800
you could probably build an AR pistol for around the same price, and .223 will perform almost the same and be vastly cheaper

I buy ss197sr from PSA, inb4 hacked site, for $17-18/box or the AE fmj for $15/box. Pretty cheap, but not 5.56 or 9mm cheap, cheaper than .45 though.
The answer is so obvious that it should have been posted already.
RIA makes a doublestack 1911 that comes with a barrel/spring combo to chamber it in either 9mm or .22TCM (9mm nicked down to .223). It uses Para P18-9 doublestack 18 round 9mm mags, and both calibers work in the same mags.
.22 TCM can fling a 40gr bullet at 2800 fps, which is actually faster than commercially available 5.7mm ammo. Did I mention the gun is $650? That's like half the price of the FN.
>>33807800
I assume this guy knows what he is talking about
>>33809426
just a little nitpick
.22 TCM is actually shortened .223 and not necked down 9mm
but that's just my autism
